Hi Zach ! Pleased to meetcha, brother.
I am not a member of any denomenation any more. I was former Presbyterian, but withdrew because the church wasn't hearing any reproofs regarding religious bondages like commitments and promises to do God's work in them by their will and by their merit when we should be resting in Him and His promises to us as our Good Shepherd that He will help us to follow Him and thus the just shall live by faith.
I'm just a christian for now, hoping in Him to help me abide in Him and His words as kept in the KJV in following Him as His disciple in seeking His glory.
I probably close to relating to Baptist than any other denomenation, but even they can get misrepresented at times like the false teaching of believing water baptism is necessary for salvation, I would rather just be called a christian. That way I am seen as being His disciples in an age where so many believers have been led astray by being a disciple of a denomenational church...even though none of them really say it like that, but they do represent their church moreso than Christ without knowing it.
Not all baptists believe that about water baptism being necessary for salvation because they go by the scripture. Yay!
Anyway, I am not allowed yet to post in Baptist only part of the forum, but you can see my postings in christian only part of the forum.
