Welcome to the Baptist Board. We have a forum set aside for discussions of bible versions and you will find that you have some brothers who will support your position. And there will be others who will not.

But be aware calling other people, or other bibles, names will earn you a reprimand.

Doesn't mean zilch to me unless you start belittling my preference for the ASV. I cut my teeth on the KJV, I've great respect for it, but I see some merit in all the translations,

I've been reading some in the ESV, but I just don't trust any others. Not my style to belittle anyone else however.
