My registration was just approved, but I must say goodbye before I even say hello. When I clicked on the "Bible" tab above, I noticed that it is the American Standard Version. I cannot be a part of a Baptist forum that would even consider ever using something other than the KJV. Whomever is in charge of this forum, that made the decision to u se the ASV, should be ashamed of themselves and will have to answer for it.

I have emailed the administration directly and requested that my account be deleted, but they, instead, approved it. I have changed my email address to one that will vanish in about ten minutes. If any administration reads this, please completely delete my account.

FYI - both versions are available.
You were looking at the ASV, you can switch to KJV.

This attitude is what is wrong with our churches today.

I myself read only the KJV but that's me! God said He would preserve His Word and I believe we should allow the Holy Spirit to guide and teach us! If we allow the Holy Spirit to lead we can't be lead astray!

When a Bible version is the requirement for fellowship, then we have our priorities wrong.

When a Bible version is the requirement for fellowship, then we have our priorities wrong.

When you have someone reading from the pulpit one version, while another version is shown on the monitors, and you are holding a third version, it just adds to confusion, especially when the Preacher then uses a fourth version.

I'm not referring to KJVO, but to having a consistent Bible version that is used, and the visitor isn't left totally confused. At least have the version being used from the pulpit be the same one used on the screens.
