US Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said:

Trump "won the nomination fair and square. He went out there and competed like everybody else. He got the most votes," McConnell said during an appearance on "CBS This Morning." "And I think it's disrespectful of the Republican electorate to say, 'I'm smarter than you are, and I'm not going to support your choice.'"

An analogy to this would be that if someone lied to you in public and you called him a liar in public but he said that it was disrespectful of you to call a liar just because he lied. :Alien:Alien:Alien

Well of course the establishment leaders wants everyone to vote for the establishment's 3rd choice. Not going to happen. He has disrespected the conservatives in the party long enough. Lets see how they do when conservatives are not longer pawns for them to use.

this support of Mcconnel surprises me that he would support an anti-establishment candidate.
He didn't that's why the establishment did everything they could to destroy Cruz. Trump is establishment and the establishment proves it more and more every day. Of the Irony of it all.

No he's not. It is impossible for him to be establishment. He has not held office anywhere. Nor are any of them supporting his campaign financially. You are just plain wrong.
No he was the crony side of the establishment, you know giving money to the Clinton's and all that. He is pure establishment and the GOPe picked him as shown by Kasich dropping out when he did. The most antiestablishment candidate was Cruz and the establishment did everything they could to destroy him. Those are just the facts, sorry if they ruffle your feathers about your guy. I for one one am just sitting back and appreciating thr irony of it all.

When will this compromising fool retire? Four more years?

Good gosh. When is he up for re-election? Do a recall right now.

He thinks that because all the stupid people supported Trump, that it would be disrespectful for the folks with good sense to now think they are smarter than the still stupid folks.

What Kasich did or did not do has no bearing on Trump. Anyway Trump is an opportunist and gave money to both sides of the isle when it suited him. Back when Reagan was in office he gave a bunch of money in that direction. He is all about him and how he can capitalize on opportunities to make him more money. He has not moral grounding neither does he have any political ideology. This is why he cannot be trusted. it has nothing to do with being establishment.

You just summed up how he is establishment. Thank you for that you said it better than I could.
BTW Kasich did exactly what the party bosses told him to do, you know they had to protect their 3rd choice from Antiestablishment Cruz.

That is not what establishment is. Not even close.
Yes it is. The Crony Capitalist are one side of the establishment. The Politicians who support their crony capitalist are the other side. You just showed clearly how Trump was and is a Crony Capitalist and now he is working to be on the other side of the equation. Even the GOPe picked him over Cruz the true anti-establishment candidate. Those are just the facts, and facts are stubborn things.

Not all establishment are crony capitalists and not all crony capitalists are establishment.

What they're really saying, like spoiled children, is "If I can't have the candidate I want, I'll just help Hillary get elected."

Trump is both establishment and a crony capitalist. Again facts are stubborn things. The Media the third leg of the establishment picked him by giving him 2 billion dollars worth of free air time. The GOPe followed the media's directions (again) and picked him by having Kasich drop out, and they are now rallying behind him with all kinds of endorsements, and are once again trying to tell the True Conservatives to get in line, and shut up. They have ignored Conservatives for too long and now they will have to pay. That is the cost of putting Trump up as the nominee with only 40% of the vote. Trump has made it clear that he doesn't want the conservative vote (read anti establishment vote) Trump is still sniping at Cruz who is clearly anti-establishment. Those are just the facts that can't be ignored. And make for some heavy irony. If it wasn't so tragic I would be eating popcorn while watching this all blow up in the GOPe face.

well except for when they are unrelated.

The Media the third leg of the establishment picked him by giving him 2 billion dollars worth of free air time.

Proof please. Prove to me there was some meeting where the media sat down and said we are for the establishment and we pick Trump so we will give him more air time.

The GOPe followed the media's directions (again) and picked him by having Kasich drop out,

Kasich dropped out because he had no path to win. It was his choice.

and they are now rallying behind him with all kinds of endorsements,

Because they do not want Hillary to win.

and are once again trying to tell the True Conservatives to get in line, and shut up.

They are trying to unite the party that has become fractured.

They have ignored Conservatives for too long and now they will have to pay.

I agree

That is the cost of putting Trump up as the nominee with only 40% of the vote.

He won the vote it was out of their hands.

Trump has made it clear that he doesn't want the conservative vote (read anti establishment vote) Trump is still sniping at Cruz who is clearly anti-establishment.

Ok great that does not make him establishment.

Those are just the facts that can't be ignored. And make for some heavy irony. If it wasn't so tragic I would be eating popcorn while watching this all blow up in the GOPe face.

Those are not all facts. Some of this is nothing more than your personal suspicion which has no real foundation. You have made claims about people but has provided no evidence of motive. Much of what you have said here falls under the fallacy of question begging. One does not automatically lead to the other.

You really want to deny that the Media did not push Trump forward? Please it is well documented that he was given around 2billion dollars in free air time. You really want to deny that for the 3rd time the GOPe didn't follow the media's direction and pick the supposed media darling for their nomination? You really want to deny the fact that Kacich dropped out of the primary right after Cruz did? It had nothing to do with not having a path to win, he didn't have a path to win for weeks before he finally dropped out. You want to claim that 40% is a majority? That is your choice but I'm sorry the facts in this case are clear and the GOPe will have to deal with the mess they made without me and my vote.
