Jeremiah is an insightful and interesting Bible teacher in many facets of the faith and I like him as a person and agree with him in many areas. However, prophecy is not one of those areas of agreement. I am a post-trib premillennialist. I can say we share much the same belief with regard to the nation of Israel.

I tend to stay away from debates on the end time, because everyone believes they have the truth on the subject and yet not one can agree in every area on this subject. Interpreting Revelation by the headlines in the daily paper or the present culture has been the downfall of many prophecy teachers in the past and I don't believe it is a good path to follow. However, that is just my 2 cents.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Yes everyone thinks they are right and others that disagree with them are wrong in this area.

What makes you think that Jeremiah is not sound? Have you actually read any of his books or this book for example?

Well you are not a premillennialist so I would not expect you to go near it.

I have looked through his study Bible and have listened to a couple of sermons on the 'end of days'. He isn't my cup of tea. I think he reads way to much into a lot of things. Then again....I have a Idealist streak in me. Our approach to Revelation is just too different for me to find his work appealing.

However, after you read, I would like to know what he says "the Bible says about immigration and ISIS"....so feel free to post that.
