Yes or No : Is the GOP using a miniscule number of cases to suppress the votes of hundreds of thousands?

Save this foolishness. Just more hypocrisy of the GOP pretending like they care about the integrity of the voting processs while all the while conniving and conspiring to come up with James Crow esq. ways to keep folks from exercising their right to vote.

The GOP realized after the 2008 election they were simply outnumbered. And they took to trying to remove millions from the voting rolls to close the gap.

Yes or No: are the demos trying to enable more fraudulent votes by claiming it's less necessary to positively identify a person voting than a person trying to get a library card.

Yes or No: Are the Reps trying to rig the electoral process by coming up with voter id laws that disparately impact minorities who don't vote for them?

Yes or No: do the dems expect more fraudulent votes in states in which voter ID laws have been thrown out?

The US AG only investigates hate speech and imaginary civil rights violations against blacks.

Yes or No: Have the Repubs pushed for extra voter suppression in states where their majorities are at stake and in which they have Repub governors?

Right because we all know the Southern Strategy, still in effect, was just a bunch of made up talk. The US AG should be investigating every instance of the GOP attempting to use frivolously made up laws to suppress voting.

Yall must think everyone is stupid. Like the foolishness in Alabama of requiring voter id and then closing the DMVs in 30+ majority minority counties.:Cautious

GOPers ain't nearly as covert as they think they are.

I just voted. I showed my voter registration card and my Texas drivers license. And so did every other voter in the polling place.

The county I live in is 91% Hispanic.

    71% registered Democrat.

And what group champions voter ID laws? You got it. The Hispanic community.

They get downright furious when some left-wing racist tries to tell them voter ID is racist because Hispanics are too stupid to know how to get a drivers license or Texas ID card (free) or register to vote (also free).

Well whoopty doo. Your county doesn't get to marginalize the beliefs of all the counties whose voters feel as though the Voter ID laws are racially discriminatory. Laws aren't racist. They are racially discriminatory. People are racists.

And the disparate impact to certain communities meets the legal definition of the law being racially discriminatory and ILLEGAL.

Yes or No: have the demos fought to have more fraudulent votes in states where they're not a majority?

Yes or No: Have the Repubs fought to enact racially discriminatory laws in states where they are outnumbered in order to try to suppress voting to close the gap in their lack of numbers?

It's not an issue in my neighborhood either.

As long as ID cards are free, birth certificates can be obtained easily at any county courthouse, and voter registration is simple (all true in Texas), I don't know how people can claim it is racist or it somehow suppresses the vote.

There is only a marginal amount of effort required to obtain identification suitable for voting - identification you need for just about every other part of life - so there are very few legitimate cases where ID laws are restrictive on their face. In those cases, there are always people happy to help.
