I asked you where scripture says what you do?
ARE you allergic to scripture?
EXPLAIN Acts 3:19.....and vs.26...
Then explain lk24:47 to us....if repentance is an optional thing.
Repenting of ins in not to fosake all know sins ad stop /cease doing them in order to g saved!
It is instead cease from relying upon own works/efforts, andto rest salvtion fully upon Christ!
Once saved, THEN start life long process of stopping/ceasing from our sinning!

That ONLY can happen by the work of the Holy Spirt, and God does not require them to be filly commited to ceasingall sins at time of conversation, as that would be a form of worksrigtiouness!

What is the difference in your mind between gospel "repentance" and the "fruit of repentance"???

Second, you are saying you never received Christ as your Savior then, because you can only "walk as your received" and we cannot walk apart from a willful committment to the complete death of sin in our life BY THE POWER of the Spirit as it is BY THE POWER of the Spirit we also received Christ.

Gospel repentance is said to be a gift of God not works - Acts 11:17. You are confusing gospel repentance which is an INTERNAL WORK OF GOD with "the fruits of repentance" which is the Spirit empowered work THROUGH the believer.

Just saying tha was savdby the Grace ofGod alone, receivd by faith alone, and tha was fully the work of God on my behalf!
Fruit is produced by the Holy Spirt after salvation happened!

You are not answering my questions. What is the difference between gospel repentance and "the fruit of repentance"?

You are to walk as you received. We cannot walk "in the Spirit" unless the old man is crucified put to death, therefore we cannot be saved by the Spirit unless at our conversion the old man is crucified put to death by the Spirit - that requires intent to stop sinning! Intent is not the same as ability. Intent is not the same as actually ceasing from sin forever. Intent is the willful act to die to sin by submitting to Christ.
Gospel repentance is admission of sin and with the intent to sin no more.

You cannot receive Christ while holding on to sin - that is impossible.

The Gospel message is that Jesu saves you just as you now are , aswe cannot evn desire to stop sinning until weget the new nature in us when reborn again!
Then we will want to do the righ thing, to cease sinning , but will still hav to deal with that oldsn nture trying to rear its ugly head!

I mentioned acts 3..19,26
Are you not able to read the scriptures ?
Yes I can Brother, as the contex would be that they need to repent of killing Jesu and regarding Him as false Messiah , and now acept Him as thir Messiah!

You continue to ignore my questions. Let's take them one at at time. Again, what is the difference between gospel repentance and "fruits of repentance"?

If you don't know say so but don't respond by reasserting a position you can't defend.

Gospel repentance happens when sinner first comes to Christ, while fruits of repentence happen after salvation moment, wen we are then able to actuall live as we should now for Him

So embrace what you just said. Gospel repentance is the work of God alone in the human mind, heart and will NOT OF WORKS but is the gift of God (Acts 11:17). In contrast, "fruits of repentance" is the work of God THROUGH an already regenerated heart called "good works" as in Ephesians 2:10.

How does that though refute what I have been saying?

gospel repentance is not works but the gift of God, and only God's power as God is the only one who can change the heart, mind and will, whereas "fruit of repentance" is good works produced through us and by us.

My point exactly, and therefore gospel repentance is not your works, but the work of God in you in the act of saving you.

Yeshua1,

Repenting of ins in not to fosake all know sins

Which sins can we keep?
Which sins do not violate the ten Commandments?

ad stop /cease doing them in order to g saved!
No one is speaking of a works salvation.
It is instead cease from relying upon own works/efforts
,

The topic is repentance from sin

andto rest salvtion fully upon Christ!
This is not the question though...is it?
Once saved, THEN start life long process of stopping/ceasing from our sinning
Repentance of sin is always....and continues during a believers sanctification.

The truth is that we cannot forsake all known sins and stop/cease them, as we are not in sinless perfection!

God wants us to repent/confess hissins, but He also knows we cannot fully turn, as we will sin at times!
