That was never true at any time in the history of Israel. The law does not give the priests civil authority.

So if the point of the Millennium is to make good on a temporal promise to the Jews, it cannot be a theocracy as you've defined it.

It's a matter of opinion. The high priest of Israel had great power especially in Jesus day.

    Quite so.

Christ said He came to fulfill the law and the prophets. I say that He did.

    You say that He didn't.

It's not a matter of opinion. It's a matter of the law.

Yes, where darkness and tradition had made the law of God of none effect.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Yes......Jesus rules with a rod of Iron....not one idle word, not one sin will go unpunished.
    Jesus rules...in the MIDST of His enemies;
    Psalm 110King James Version (KJV)

110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

4 The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

this has started and is ongoing as we speak....

Did you ever see the Sherman Williams logo.....it has the earth with a big bucket of red paint being poured out and spreading worldwide.....it reminds me of the victorious gospel conquering worldwide.
    The demonic counterfeit....Islam...seeks to impose a demon...ocracy ....with sharia law....the Kingdom of God maintains the 10 commandments and the NT. expansion of those teachings....God has given it to us to implement;
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?

7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

43 So Jehovah gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.
44 And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; Jehovah delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 There failed not aught of any good thing which Jehovah had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass. Josh 21

And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which Jehovah your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, not one thing hath failed thereof. Josh 23:14

Blessed be Jehovah, that hath given rest unto his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there hath not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant. 1 Ki 8:56

    That is the Church.

1Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

What do you think Aaron? This is a very basic question. Why do you need someone else to spoon feed you this answer?

False false false! Aaron this is simply not true. We do believe Christ is in control of the events on earth! Go read a book on our view.

    I'll cut to the chase.

Yes, they belong to Christ, and we are commanded to go into them, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and to teach them to obey all things that Christ has commanded.

Obedience. It does the Body good. Stop preaching. Get off line. Join a church and submit to its authority, and get counseling. Eschatology is the least of your concerns. You need to learn obedience, and it's appearing that suffering will be your teacher.

Aaron what makes you think I have not already joined a church. YOUR PROBLEM is that you assume things.

You are one judgmental person Aaron. You assume things that people in real life do not say. Think about it. Who would you listen to? A stranger online, or people that you know in real life?

Lol, I know you by your words [edited]. You will listen to those that tell you what you want to hear, stranger or not.

It would be good For Me to know where you live Aaron (of course it's your call to disclose or not)...but your commentary has little influence on anyone without even the basic structures.
