PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS. IT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU COULD EVER DO AND IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES.

ARE YOU 100% SURE THAT IF YOU DIED TODAY THAT YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN?

There are some things that you should know:

    1. Realize that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior:

Ro 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Ro 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

This all began with the story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. God created them perfect, there was no death or sorrow. God told them not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God and as a result, sin entered into the world. The pain which this world sees is the result of sin.

    2. Because of our sins, we die both spiritually and physically, but God sent His Son to die so that you can have a chance not to have to go to hell by accepting what He did on the cross for you:

Ro 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Ro 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. for us."

Every person who has ever lived is a sinner and is not righteous because we do bad things. A sin is a crime against God, just as if you steal something at the store, it is punishable by going to jail. It's the same thing with sin. Even if we lie one time, the punishment is hell, which is a prison for those who commit crimes against God. That’s because you must be perfect in order to get to heaven. No matter how well you live your life from then on, you have already committed a sin which will be punished if you are not pardoned. If you commit a crime, and then live as a good citizen you still will go to jail for the crime you committed. Right? Just as the president can pardon a crime so you won't go to jail, Jesus can pardon your sins so that you do not go to hell, and can go to heaven when you die.

    3. If you will Admit to Jesus Christ that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior, Believe in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead and Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and you will be forgiven and taken to heaven to be with Him when you die.

Joh 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name”

Ro 10:9,10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.."

You cannot get to heaven by being a good person, going to church, baptism or any other way other than by turning to Jesus, believing in your heart that He died on the cross and rose from the dead for your sins and placing your trust in Him. While these are good things to do, some people believe that they will get to heaven if they do these things, but the bible says that there is only one way to heaven and that is through receiving what Jesus Christ did on the cross for you.

Will you do that today? If you will, you can be 100% sure that you will go to heaven when you die.

DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED ON THE CROSS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD FOR YOUR SINS?

ARE YOU WILLING TO TURN TO JESUS CHRIST FOR SALVATION?

    4. If you are willing to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and believe it with all of your heart, you could pray something like this to God from your heart:

"Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the Cross and Rose from the dead for my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and forgive me for my sins, save me, take me to be with You when I die. I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus holy name, Amen."

If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ and meant it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and will go to heaven.

Now that you are on your way to heaven, you should attend a bible believing church and follow in baptism.

Worship me and you are in the kingdom is a formula that is definitely in the bible.

    Matthew 4
8Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”

No where in the bible does Jesus Christ say Worship me, accept me as Lord and Savior and I will let you in the Kingdom.

Jesus Christ establishes a method greater then SATAN's Method.

A selfish man only has his eye on "will this get me in heaven?".

One who loves God does what God says to do, and he does it.........FOR FREE.

Lets ask Jesus what we have to do.

    Luke 10

25And a lawyer stood up and put Him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 26And He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?” 27And he answered, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” 28And He said to him, “You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE.”

Satan hates the truth. Satan wants his method. Satan hates the scriptures, He can't say amen to the above, he has to hide it with his system.

A REAL bible believing Christian reads the WORD OF THE LORD and says AMEN.

He doesn't use Satan's method, he doesn't take the exact BACKWARDS meaning. He actually believes what the bible says.

Satan says YOU CAN'T DO IT, You can't love your neighbor, you can't love God.

Jesus commands LOVE GOD, LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR.

The selfish question is if "I die today will I go to heaven."

Jesus is our example. He never asked that question, And you didn't see him groveling to someone else to save him.

    Ephesians 5
1Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; 2and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

    1 Corinthians 11
1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Live TODAY, do God's will TODAY, Salvation? keep it buddy. God and neighbor gets total love for FREE.

Love God for the sake of GOD not for the sake of Heaven, sake of eternal life, sake of every reward in existence.

    Matthew 16
25“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

Eternal or not give it to Christ. You don't need a kingdom you need Christ. You don't need heaven you need GOD,

The holy spirit is with you right now. Tapping the back of your heart. It screams "HOW HIGH" before God asks to "JUMP".

The righteous are as bold as a Lion.

He doesn't stop to wonder if what God told him to do is gonna pay up with salvation or any other reward.

Who wants to go to heaven?

    John 15
9“Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love

That's all the heaven you need right there.^ There is nothing to top that. Jesus loves you AS MUCH as GOD loves him.

If your looking for more, No wonder you got problems!

Your prayers might go like this: Lord please let me in heaven.

But when you grow up its : Lord send everyone's trouble my way instead.

This is exactly wrong. Satan says YOU CAN DO IT. Satan will tell you that you're a good person, that you're doing just fine. That $10 that you gave that beggar; God is so pleased with you for that. Just carry on the way you are and God is sure to be pleased with you.
    Then you can say
'God, I thank you that I am not like other men- extortioners, unjust, adulterers or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all I possess' (Luke 18:9-14).

But the Lord Jesus Christ says, 'The one who comes to Me, I will by no means cast out.' Come, all you selfish people, all you unkind folk; come you racketeers, you petty criminals; come you wife-beaters, you child-molesters, you Moslem suicide bombers, you very worst of sinners, come to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith and He will not turn you away. Come, laden down with all your sins and wickedness. Jesus Christ wants nothing from you; nothing known, nothing done, nothing felt; no good feelings save your need of Him. Look to Him; see Him on the cross, bleeding, dying and understand that it was for you that He suffered. Lay hold of Christ as a drowning man lays hold of a lifebelt and cry, "I will not let you go until You bless me.' He will not turn you away.

    'His blood can make the foulest clean;
    His blood availed for me!'

Then (and only then) will you be ready for the good deeds that Christ Jesus prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).

Utilyan...the OP is not addressing "real Bible believing Christians."

    He/it is addressing the unregenerate.

    Jesus is God, Utilyan.

Have you been so long time with Him and you still do not know this?

    ;)

Utilyan...the unregenerate do not, and cannot...love God.

And it is the preaching of the Gospel of Christ and the enlightenment of the Comforter that allows the natural man to understand his condition and turn to Christ.
That is the point of the OP.

Utilyan...that is precisely what the OP is stating, lol.

Except he does it much better than you do here. I know in my own experience my primary concern was very selfish...I knew I was destined for Hell, and I knew...I deserved it.

Here, in this statement (yours), we have two very distinct phases of salvation, conversion, and progressive sanctification. The OP is focused on conversion. He recognizes progressive sanctification here:

Its simple, and that is the way to reach some people. That's all it takes. Because some people will have already been ministered to prior to that hearing of the Gospel which becomes the point of conversion. I know that was the case for me. Probably a course of nearly two years in the making. But when it happened, the conviction was overwhelming.

When I went forward, those who spoke with me were really of very little consequence, they could have told me lions were purple and wore bow-ties and it would not have altered the focus of my heart at that point. It was God Himself bringing me to that conviction, but, He utilized the Word of God in that process, namely...the Gospel.

So read the OP again, Utilyan, and understand there is no need to try to redefine the simplicity of the Gospel he conveys in it.

    God bless.

Watch the entire video and there is no doubt dinosaurs walked with men. You may want to skip to about 30 minutes into it. That's when he gets into the hard evidence. Don't watch 10 minutes of it and say "that doesn't prove anything" Skip to about 30 minutes into it and then listen.

This thread should be deleted. That opening post with the sinners prayer borders on heresy. Getting to heaven is not achieved by repeating a prayer, a chant. Eternal life is through the finished work of Christ on the cross. We are saved by grace through faith. You do not ask Jesus into your life. You put your faith in Him that He forgave you of your sins. The Holy Spirit guides you to become more like Jesus each day. One does not get to heaven. Heaven is in the Christian's heart here on earth And by the way, Christ chose you, you did not say a prayer through your own will.

Jesus Commands people to make requests of God.

    Luke 11
9“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 10“For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. 11“Now suppose one of you fathers is asked by his son for a fish; he will not give him a snake instead of a fish, will he? 12“Or if he is asked for an egg, he will not give him a scorpion, will he? 13“If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

^You would have to answer NOT much more at all.

Because you would have to have the holy spirit .........to ask for the holy spirit.

If that sounds stupid, its because it IS STUPID.

Military men...... If God commands you to not sin.........does that mean he WANTS you to sin?

Simple question folks. It strikes terror in the heart of all Calvinist.

The Holy Spirit is in a person at the moment of salvation. You can use it or not. There is no need for a second dose. It is like Lordship Salvation. You received all you need when you came to salvation. There is no need to come back a second time. Duh

Well if you don't have to pray......you should have told Jesus not to pray. Duh.:Laugh

Jesus even prays for others after the resurrection.

    9“Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father who is in heaven,
    Hallowed be Your name.
    10‘Your kingdom come.
    Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
11‘Give us this day our daily bread.
12‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’]

That was before the Resurrection, and the subject is the sinners prayer, not the Lords prayer. A sinners prayer is nothing more than a chant.

Tons of prayers in the bible after Jesus rose. Is there a particular subject of prayer that would change your mind there? No need for second dose......Yet Peter is praying right there.

    1 Peter 5
6Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 8Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. 10After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 11To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen.

That's just one prayer brother.......86 more to go.

Sauron would be 1000x more loving then massive disaster of an idea of God you have.

The "CONTRACT" the Devil gave Jesus:

Just accept me as Lord and I will let you in the kingdom, Is the exact same contract your pushing Jesus to give to us.

Jesus is NOTHING like the Devil. You even made him worst cause the devil didn't even threaten folks with hell if they don't accept.

If you didn't accept the devil's deal, he would shrug and be like "fine". But if we don't accept Jesus' deal you are toast.

    Matthew 4
8Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”

That is precisely what we do.

    John 14:16-18

    King James Version (KJV)

    16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Those who ask Christ to "come into their hearts" may not precisely know that this is what the Lord does when they beseech Him, but that is precisely what He does when one yields to the Comforter.

At salvation we are immersed into God, called the Baptism with the Holy Ghost. This is the eternal indwelling promised to Israel in prophecy in Ezekiel 36:27. When we are indwelt by God, we are indwelt by the Father, by the Son, and by the Holy Ghost...Who is not a "force," but God Himself.

The Spirit of God has always ministered in the hearts and lives of men, but note that Christ distinguishes between the ministry of that day with the Ministry that was to come: rather than being "with them," He would be in them. Verse 16 makes it clear that "another Comforter" would be with them on an eternal basis, also contrasted to the existing ministry of the Spirit of God among men.

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

So in these few short verses we see that the Promise of Christ (see Acts 1:4-8) is that a day was coming when the believer would be eternally indwelt by the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and Acts 1-2 makes it clear when that day took place.

So the bottom line is that not only is it Biblical to tell people they need to ask Christ into their hearts, but those who do adhere to a more pure understanding of salvation in Christ.

    God bless.

Yes, you do receive Jesus Christ into your life.

    Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: {power: or, the right, or, privilege}
