    Great Britain and Australia, in their attempt to implement such gun laws, instituted mandatory gun confiscations, the Independant Journal reported.

    Although it has been noted Australia’s was a “gun buyback program,” it was nonetheless mandatory, as were the confiscations in Britain.

    So President Obama being pro-gun control is a "conservative conspiracy theory?"

    His issuing 23 Executive Orders regarding gun control is a "conservative conspiracy theory?"

    And that is the primary reason this election cycle was so very, very important. The President will appoint from as few as two to as many as five Supreme Court Justices in the next 4-8 years. And those justices will guide the direction our country goes in for the next 50 years.

    Gun control is violating the Constitution of the United States, specifically the 2nd Amendment which concludes with the words "shall not be infringed."

    What part of "shall not be infringed" is so difficult to understand?

    How about when those "regulations" are being used as a tactic to "infringe" on those rights? Or do you deny that was the ongoing agenda and/or that it would have got a lot worse?

    To tell me I can only have one size magazine for my defensive weapon is definitely an infringement (Not IMO, but what the constitution says implicitly as well as explicitly - No Infringements!).

    You can call me psychic, but I don't think it takes much to put 2 and 2 together if one had listened to Hillary's sentiments and plans to know where it was heading despite her lies...

    Then give me an example of the 2nd amendment being restrained.


    1) now would you have any objections if the first amendment was slightly infringed
    - speech, press, religions
    suppose the govt said that all church services could not go past 5 pm?

    Banning gun ownership would be an example.

    I don't support infringing either amendment. I just don't consider gun regulation to be infringement. Having the right to bear arms does not mean having the right to bear all kinds of arms or to have absolutely no restrictions in place. Most people would agree with that (such as not allowing private ownership of tactical nuclear weapons, to use an extreme example), but the question is just about the extent of the regulations.

    That's a partly political and partly judicial question. Ultimately, the role will fall to the Supreme Court to interpret the law and the Constitution.
