What REALLY bugs the Dems is that their own Party allowed for nuke option, just need 51 votes to pass SC judge and otherappointings now, not 60 majority!

The nuclear option was not applied to regular legislation or SCOTUS appointees. It could be at any time, but, as of now, the threshold for cloture is 60 votes.

So it's going to be Neil Gorsuch? Sounds like he shares Scalia's philosophy but his views on abortion are not know as well as his views against euthanasia.

I think they will only put up a token defense, since this is a conservative for a conservative. The nuclear option probably won't be needed, the real test will come when one of the aging liberal justices (RGB, Stevens) has to be replaced.

I felt good about him. ...Except, being a Physical Therapist Assistant, I must say that I instantly couldn't help to notice his horrible posture, Upper-Cross Syndrome, weak neck, drooping shoulders and other associated muscular imbalances. He is only 49 years old and would like to see him around a while. I believe he seriously needs some focus on these issues to stay healthy. - just a pet observation that would have been one the first things out of my mouth if I had him for rehab for something...

You may be right, although, the way they are going I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't give up easily.

The thought of replacing them just warms my heart! Makes me feel like crying... :)

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

    The tears were genuine.

But, what actually caused the tears?

I'd bet that once I pointed out to him that his head was anteriorly at least 4" out of position and showed him the correct spinal posture and explained proprioceptive awareness that he would become self conscious of it and make great strides at correcting it. Wish I could...

This is what happens when narrow minded political leaders lose all power. They have nothing left but to call names and make up lies. They cannot debate the facts or truth, they must twist the truth and make stuff up. They have nothing left but to create straw man arguments.

Yes that they do and it could be argued that it is their 1st amendment right to do so unless of course there is libel or slander.

But we must also hold Trump's feet to the fire to keep his promises.

He has been so aggressive in that respect that he probably won't have to be reminded but since it is our 1st amendment right we should do it - at very least on social media which IMO is indeed an exercise of our 1st amendment rights.

However we must also remember we may risk being indicted for libel or slander.

e.g. Statements on the BB don't go away unless of course the BB guardians are wise enough to remove libelous statements.

Personally I always try to provide evidence of accusations (quotes, URLs) and/or abridge my statements with an indication of a personal opinion.

For future reference, everything I say on this board is my opinion and/or rides off someone else's opinion... ;)

I wouldn't worry too much there brother. You have Chucky and Polosi spewing slander and lies daily on the record and nothing happens to them.

These lefties keep saying it is a Muslim ban, so are Christians from these countries allowed to come?
