Yes, no matter what you do, the elect will respond, because, well, elect.

Someone who believes abortion is not evil might say that they are potential human beings.

W.A. Criswell used to claim that his view of abortion in the 1950s-1960s influenced Bill Clinton's viewpoint. I don't know if that's true, but it was a common belief in some Southern Baptist circles (like W.A. Criswell's) that a child did not become human until they took their first breath - they saw that as having the "breath of life." Only in the early 1970s, after Roe v. Wade, did that change.

I have heard a number of people - usually older Baptists/Christians - present that viewpoint.

I suspect it was much more popular before CPR became widely known as a method to restore respiration. Even today in CPR classes, instructors often refer to people as "dead" if they are not breathing.

No one needs a message from God that water is wet.

Or killing a baby in the womb is murder.

I hate the term "Unborn babies". They are pre-born. People have unthinkingly bought into a pro-abortion expression that dehumanizes helpless children. Little wonder that the state of things is this way when babies are referred to as the equivalent of zombies.

This is a general complaint and not one directed specifically against Hank.

    Rant over.

You have two jobs, that should be a good indication you should involve yourself in friendship evangelism. God calls us where we are at, at times. Start with your co-workers.

    didnt realize you were asking
have a part time job- several days a week x 8 hours -
and two home business - hours are varabile - but I do end up working many hours a week -
in addition to my duties as pastor.
Will say, sometimes the jobs overlap - ie when I need to go to the city for one job- I often can be doing things for the other job as well.
Not to mention - the many days I have spent at the hospital these past 3 months due to 3 major problems -.......
