A different kind of doctrine statement

I think the guy is an idiot, a complete heretic and his confession is complete rubbish.
I wouldn't say complete heretic - several things I agree with - but there are some things I find "way out"
It would be most interesting to review this person's beliefs in another ten years, when he matures in the faith.
The person lost me quite early, when he stated that he believes that the London Confession was "inspired".

I read an exposition of a statement of faith this past week.
A comment one preeminent leader made about that other statement resounded within me:
...a statement of faith can be a point of separation from others or it can seek to bring together others of diverse background, seeking to unite them in the essentials.
