Upset its address will be "Mercedes-Benz Drive" which suggests materialism and inequality:

The automaker...said renaming streets around its facilities is a tradition and part of its branding. It is owns the naming rights to the stadium of the NFL's Atlana Falcons
“We don’t feel that the road renaming has an adverse impact or implication on church beliefs, but understand if the church feels it must voice its disagreement to the city,” Donna Boland, spokeswoman for Mercedez-Benz wrote in an email.
“I think it’s mostly the concept of being forced to use the Mercedes-Benz brand,” [church spokesman Bill] Maycock said. “The teachings of the church and the practices of the church [are] a non-materialistic view of life as taught by Jesus and the New Testament…[and a view of] equality, that we are all equal as God’s children.”

Does anyone have other examples of embarrassing church addresses?

Meh, I don't see where a Mercedes-Benz address is that bad. Now if it was the 5th Street Baptist Church before the change, I wouldn't fault them for a name change.

I suppose they could all pray Janis Joplin's prayer.
All together now:

O Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all got Porsches, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my life, Lord, no help from my friends;
So, Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz?'

Similar story out of Kansas City today:

Church To Remove 'Country Club' From Name

Country Club Congregational Church "prides itself on being committed to social justice and inclusivity. Which is why, says minister Chase Peeples, the name had to change. 'Country Club' seems to connote the idea of exclusivity and wealth,' he says. 'That's not the Jesus I encounter when I read the gospel.'"
