Exo 31:13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign1 between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, יהוה, am setting you apart. Footnote: 1The only sign of יהוה setting us apart, the only sign of the everlasting covenant, is His Sabbaths, one of them being the seventh day Sabbath. This is repeated in Ezek. 20:12 & 20.
Exo 31:14 ‘And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.
Exo 31:15 ‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to יהוה. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death.
Exo 31:16 ‘And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant.
Exo 31:17 ‘Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
The disciples were not breaking Sabbath. They were breaking oral law - man's rules. No sin in thisAre you not aware that the disciples of Jesus Christ transgressed the command of the Sabbath, and were still innocent?
At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, "Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath." (Matthew 12:1-2 [NIV])
While the Israelites were in the wilderness, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. (Numbers 15:32 [NIV])
Hence why Paul writes,
One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. (Romans 14:5 [NIV])
A person is not breaking the Sabbath if that person believes and is convinced that the Sabbath is but a foreshadow of the true millennial Sabbath, which will then fulfill the command to observe the seventh day Sabbath,
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. (Colossians 2:16-17 [NIV])

Paul cannot change scripture, nor attempted to. Your verse in no way contradicts any laws, but is instead saying let no man judge you in how you observe these.
The big point is that you OBSERVE THEM. Knowing to do right (obey) and not doing it is a sin. It is absurd to think you can believe in the Sabbath and not actually rest on it and you're in obedience. That is the worst stinking thinking I've heard of in a long time.
Picking heads of grain is not work, but in the oral law it was forbidden as an act of harvesting. But Yeshua had no problem with it because it wasn't harvesting, merely grazing as they went. The oral law made the commandments a burden instead of an act of freedom by imposing additional rules as fences around the torah. This is in opposition to Deu 4:2 and Deu 12:31-32.They were not breaking "oral law" when the Law itself condemned a man to death for merely gathering wood, did you not read? Let me requote,

Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp." (Numbers 15:35 [NIV])
The Law even forbids lighting a fire on the Sabbath,
Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day." (Exodus 35:3 [NIV])
These are not ORAL laws, this is what is written. I surely hope you are not turning on the lights on the Sabbath.

The man gathering wood was doing it in "Rebellion" against the Word of YHVH while the disciples were not. The reason the man was stone was willful and defiant behavior against the true King and this is why he was executed.
Lighting a fire on the Sabbath command refers most likely to the act of gathering, cutting, and preparing the wood which is a laborious task. Some even state that this fire might have been for the purposes of working or even baking which was to be done the previous day.
Letter of the law = the rules (truth)
Spirit of the law = the intents of the rules
It takes both to have proper interpretation and application and Yeshua came to show us more of the spirit of it (intent) but he NEVER did away with the letter. (nor did Paul)
How can you have any understanding when you, yourself admit to not even keeping these things? You openly, and willfully break them and claim your faith is greater. Deception runs very deep in one such as this.You do realize that you yourself have created your own "oral" tradition, contrary to the Law, by making these statements,

Which is no different than the oral traditions of the Jews who also violate the Law, who for example, many make tzitzit of all pure white because they do not know which dye of blue to use, so they essentially violate the Law because of their tradition, as you do in a different way permitting yourself to do some work in violation of your own belief that the Sabbath must still be observed. How foolish.
You mandate an observance of a Sabbath that clearly you do not even observe as was commanded, because you have loopholed the command to do absolutely no work.
We, on the other hand, who are of greater faith, know that we will fulfill the Sabbath when we enter the rest of the thousand year millennial reign of Jesus Christ.

Says the man that picking up grain on the Sabbath is not breaking the Sabbath when formerly a man who was merely gathering wood broke the Sabbath. It is you who has no understanding how one can transgress the Sabbath, yet still be innocent,
Or have you not read in the Law how on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless? (Matthew 12:5 [ESV])
You can't see the difference between rebellion in Numbers 15 and the lack of work of the disciples? Do you think sabbath should be observed by laying in bed all day and not moving a muscle? Views such as this are quite ridiculous.
Num 15:30 ‘But the being who does whatever defiantly, whether he is native or a stranger, he reviles יהוה, and that being shall be cut off from among his people.Notice this man is tied to willful disobedience.
Num 15:33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Mosheh and to Aharon, and to all the congregation.
You are not innocent when you don't keep the sabbath at all. You are taking yet another verse out of context. The priests had a duty to perform on the sabbath with the sacrifices so they were innocent because they were commanded. You, on the other hand, willfully break the sabbath by not observing it and are GUILTY.
Lol, willful sin is a totally different thing than an ignorant sin. There were no sacrifices for this in the OT and only Yeshua is the sacrifice for willful sins (thus there is no more sacrifices for this Heb 10)Transgression has nothing to do with "willful disobedience" or deliberate "rebellion", for even Eve transgressed the command to not eat of the forbidden fruit,
and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. (1 Timothy 2:14 [ESV])
And it was charged against her as sin, even though she was deceived to not be "willfully disobedient" and "rebellious", so in relation to that, whether the man who picked up wood was willfully or unwittingly transgressing is irrelevant, for he disobeyed and committed a sin worthy of death. Transgressing the command of the Sabbath, whether gathering grain, or now even picking up wood, is no longer sin for those who live by belief in the new covenant, who understand that the Sabbath is but a shadow of the true Sabbath, which is the millennial rest given by Jesus Christ, in which case whoever enters this rest, WILL FULFILL THE SABBATH.
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17 [NIV])
Yet even so, with your lesser belief concerning the Sabbath, not even you keep it as commanded, for from your own explanations it is clear that you have loopholed the commands regarding the Sabbath, and have created your own oral tradition and observance of the Sabbath that is quite contrary to the Law, so by you believing that you must still observe the Sabbath, yet observe it in a manner contrary to the Law, you are in fact the one that is in sin, and also hypocrisy concerning the Sabbath.

A shadow picture is not changed once the substance comes, but continues to be a shadow. If you do not practice it, then you deny the substance.
Fulfilling the torah means to fill it full of meaning or to give a proper interpretation of it. It never means to end it. If you read the next few verses after this then it should be abundantly clear (I have posted them several times).
Greatest belief = Hear and do. No faith = hear and don't do (the true hypocrisy)
I never said the Torah ended, I said that the manner in which it is observed has changed, hence,
For when the priesthood is changed, the law must be changed also. (Hebrews 7:12 [NIV])
And so, the observance of Sabbaths and Festivals have indeed changed, by observing the REALITIES that the SHADOWS pointed to. And here is a list of them,
1. Passover lamb requirement = Jesus Christ as the reality of the passover lamb.
2. Festival of Unleavened Bread = reality to put away sin.
3. Festival of First Fruits = reality of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
4. Festival of Weeks (Pentecost) = reality of the giving forth of the holy spirit.
5. Festival of Trumpets = reality of the second coming of Jesus Christ with the sound of trumpets.
6. Day of Atonement = reality of the gathering of the elect from all over the world.
7. Festival of Booths = reality of the time the elect will begin to live in the encampment that will exist in Israel for them.
8. Seventh Day Sabbath = reality of the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ that corresponds with the last thousand years of the full seven thousand years for this heaven and earth to exist.
9 Circumcision of the flesh = reality of the circumcision of the heart to discard your sinful nature (foreskin of the heart), and free you from sin.
10. Abstinence from foods = reality to not yoke together with unbelievers, for the behaviors of unclean animals symbolize the behaviors of ungodly men.
A change in priesthood administration does not do away with torah laws. All 10 of your points should still be observed today by true believers. You cannot perform the required sacrifices on the sabbaths without the levitical system, but the days can be memorialized and no work done on them.
Food laws never change, ever. It is wickedness to attempt this.
Circumcision is still a sign of the covenant (sabbath is also).
Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. (Galatians 5:2 [NIV])
Context is EVERYTHING. Paul was talking to the galations about not being ensnared by false brothers trying to put you under the bondage of oral law (pharisaical rules and regulations). We can know this in many different verses throughout this book. When Paul is talking about "circumcised" he is talking about becoming as one of the pharisees and a debtor to the the oral law (they require this as an entry right). This is why Titus was not compelled to be circumcised. Paul never spoke against the commandment of circumcision only the oral law surrounding it.
You need to read this article below to understand Acts 15. Paul did not preach against any commandments:LOL, it never ceases to amaze me how plain scripture can be, yet many still wander off into their own delusions.
While Paul and Barnabas were at Antioch of Syria, some men from Judea arrived and began to teach the believers: “Unless you are circumcised as required by the law of Moses, you cannot be saved.”2 Paul and Barnabas disagreed with them, arguing vehemently. Finally, the church decided to send Paul and Barnabas to Jerusalem, accompanied by some local believers, to talk to the apostles and elders about this question.(Acts 15:1-2 [NLT])
