I heard a spot radio announcement by a grace movement church in which it was stated that they used only the KJV. This caused me to visit and, for a while, I was hooked. Finally, I realized that it was little more than a cult. No, I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "cult," but the veneration bestowed on John Nelson Darby and C.I. Scofield would almost warrant that designation. The nineteenth century certainly had its share of cults and false teachers. Anyway, when I found out what scoundrels these two men were, I got out of there and am once more a baptist; this time a "Steve Anderson baptist." No, he's not my "exalted leader," but this nation certainly needs more hard baptist preaching.

Are we talking about the 'pissing against the wall' Steve Anderson?

I would NEVER associate myself with Anderson. I am ashamed he calls himself a Baptist.

Billy, do you have a link to a web site of this "Grace Movement"? I've never heard of it.

    Is "Grace Movement" these churches?

"The Grace Movement (Hyper-dispensationalism, Mid-Acts Dispensationalism, or incorrectly, "Bullingerism" to which 'Ultradispensationalism' properly applies) is a Protestant conservative Evangelical movement that..." (Wikipedia)

They hold to a non scriptural view on the Gospel and the scriptures.

Faithful Word Baptist Church - Our Pastor, assuming this is the same one Billy Shope is talking about.
Are they the same group I linked above?

Red flag would be no college experience, as while not required, God does have schools set up to do learning and training through!

No college is not a red flag to me, but there are a number of problems I have with his faith and practice.

You missed the question about Grace Gospel Fellowship. Is it the same group you mentioned that has "a non-scriptural view on the Gospel and the scriptures"?

Mr. Anderson was banned from this board for trollish behavior in 2007. He would post links to his sermons then not interact with the commenters.

I would assume you guys are all happy with your dispensationalist, Christian Zionist, pretrib pastors. I'll side with the Bible and those who preach it.

Sounds like the Grace Movement is a danger of Dispensationalism.
