When that happens you normally just speak on tongues. God is a God of means, after all. :)

Ouch!! In 10 months of paying that, I'd have an iPhone 8+ paid off and one more month and a half and I'd have Apple Care covered too. I'd rather pay cash. It is way cheaper.

The interesting thing is that high definition voice takes less bandwidth than normal circuit-switched quality voice but is better. It used a low bit rate voice codec which samples from a broader bandwidth. I was working on VoIP for AT&T and data was king. We couldn't keep up with the data growth and went to a low bit rate codec which slightly degraded the voice quality and saved 1/3 of the IP network capacity. We gained substantial network capacity by merging the Cingular backbone with the AT&T landline IP network backbone. That provided the opportunity to go to high definition voice. Besides that there were signs that Verizon was working on that too so it was an imperative from a competitive standpoint.

That is interesting. My son bought an adapter so he could use his phone while charging. It worked until he updated his phone. Now it recognizes the adapter isn't an apple product. While I don't like the iOS, this is the reason I don't like Apple.

It's the number one reason I don't like Apple--you are a prisoner to their system. You can't buy third party products, not too many, unless they are Apple approved.

You can't customize your phone, not really. There's no app drawer. Try to put only a couple of icons on one launch page, can't do it. Try to arrange the icons the way you want them to appear and you'll be at it for an hour or more. There's NO WIDGETS. Suppose you've got a contact you call frequently and you want to put a speed dial icon on your home page. Can't do it. You've got to open the contact list, hunt them down, or use Siri.

    No thanks.

Actually, God is awesome. The iPhone X is neat but not necessary.

I’ve used both but I prefer my R.L. Allan NASB. The feel in my hands makes it real. It’s a matter of preference.

False!!! I will address one objection. But you can put speed dials on favorites and dial them quickly.

False!!!! There are widgets available in IOS. Also it does not take no hour to rearrange your icons. It takes me very little time.

How many apps can have a widget associated to it?

So you can put a widget on your home screen that will speed dial someone on your contact list?

You can put say, six icons on one screen, twelve on another, or does Apple require you to fill one up before you can move on to another?

Apple fanboi's are so fun to mess with...

Ooh! Ooh! I know the answer to this!! Yep - you can have six icons on one screen and 12 on another. I have my home screen pretty NOT populated and spread the wealth out to other pages. Page 2 has my more important but not used regularly apps and page three has my "spare" apps - apps that I need but not often at all (I COULD delete them but they have data that I need).
