What is your favorite Bible translation, and why?

Currently, the CSB. I enjoy it's readability and how it handles idiomatic language.

I use quite a few versions.
I'm currently enjoying the CSB too.
I've made it a habit to change versions every few year so keep thing fresh.
My go-to version for comparison is the ESV which tends towards literal interpretation.

Nasb, as believe that it is the closest English version to the original language texts.

As I am Byzantine Preferred my teaching/preaching bible is the NKJV. My daily reading bible is the WEB. Most of my study is done in the original languages for which I use the Ben Chayyim Hebrew text and the Robinson/Pierpont Greek Byzantine text.

I would say mine are the NKJV and the NASB. I have gained an appreciation for the NKJV as it allows me to keep the poeticism of the KJV but not have to suffer the outdated language. I just yesterday ordered a NKJV reference bible with large print for my middle-aged eyes. I can't wait for it to get here!
