I can't speak for the SDA, but the Latin Rite of Christianity preaches Christ crucified. There are still altars in our houses of worship that speak to that momentous act in history. What is in your house of worship, a pulpit only?

Of course Jesus is off the Cross and risen, but what did He say we should do to always remember? All you have to do is to open the Scriptures and it is written there numerous times in the gospels. (Hint: Check out Mark, Matthew, and Luke - Jesus is clear as to what He wants us to do). If your worship service does not do as He said, you are in error.
