Q: Has God done everything in His power to save uncle Billy?

Nope, He does whats perfect for uncle Billy.

Q: What does uncle Billy lack that the three others did not?

A humble nephew. Which the sermon was aimed at.

Perfect? In what way, perfect? God has a custom-tailored way in which Uncle Billy will reject Him?

You were just released from my ignore list because of my extreme kindness and grace, but just as in a certain parable, you could go right back to the dungeon.

    Watch the personal attacks, please.

That's what I get for going against my better judgment and attempting to treat people who act like children, such as your display above demonstrates, as adults.

You didn't last a week. See you again in 2019!

The fact is, we DO choose; we DO have a "will" and we do choose either life or death. As for myself, I didn't want to fry in Hell for all eternity. Why do some choose life and others choose death? Who knows? Is it important for us to figure out? Or is it more important to just preach the Gospel, tell everyone that God LOVES them personally? Why not tell them that God has no pleasure in putting them in Hell? Why not tell them that God wants them to repent, trust Jesus, and live?
    Eze 33:11
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

    The principle is the same.

Yes another abuse of Ephesians 1:4! WHERE in this verse, or chapter, does it say anything about "election TO salvation"? This is what the verse says:

"even as He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him. In love"

It is God's pre-determined will, that all those who are saved, should live "holy and blameless" lives before Him! That is ALL that this text reads! It speaks of God's DESIRE for His children and has nothing to do with the "Reformed" distortion of "election"!

Hang one, do you believe that all sinful humans have a FREE WILL? You say here, "he cannot because he WILL not", this is only possible if he had the FREE capacity to DO or NOT! However, the fact that "Calvinism" and others, teach that the will of man is "bound", thereby making them incapable of CHOOSING Jesus as Saviour, can only mean that they are NOT ABLE to, because their WILLS have been bound by something not in their control! How then can they be "responsible" for sin if their "nature" forbids them from doing any different? How can a Just God send the "non-elect" to hell, which Jesus says in John 16, "because they do not believe in Me" (verse 9), when they CANNOT? This "system" of theology makes God out to be grossly unfair, and the author of sin!

Do you obey all of the commandments of God, without fail?

Men have free moral agency. Nature does not forbid anyone. Men, knowing evil is evil choose the evil. See Romans 1. Knowledge and will are not the same thing.

Deal with what I have said, and if you think I am wrong, then prove it! The fact that you write OBEY, shows that I can DISOBEY, which can only be possible, if I had a FREE WILL to do this!

"FREE WILL", defined, "The power of acting without the constraint of necessity or fate; the ability to act at one's own discretion" (Oxford English Dictionary)

It's been explained to you multiple times, but you are too angry and in love with the caps lock key to listen.

Why don't you simply admit that the position that you hold to, is totally inbibilical, as you cannot respond to what I have shown? Your own words show that what you believe to be true, is not so! As I have said, if what I have shown from the Bible to be error, then all you have to do is prove where I am wrong. Thus far you have explained NOTHING!

Typical "Calvinistic" response! You cannot admit that you are wrong, cannot defend what you say from the Bible, and like the Jehovah's Witnesses, put up false arguments and excuses!

very true! it is very sad though, as these are our brethren in the Lord Jesus, and they are content with sticking to their "theology", even when shown to be wrong from Scripture! Or, as some like John Piper, will go as far as to corrupt the meaning of Greek words, so that they FIT their theological bias! I really don't know who they can do such things, and claim to walk with the Lord?
