A prophet OF GOD'S has a 100% "batting average". EGW does NOT have that!

Some wannabee prophets make "general" prophecies, avoiding specifics, but EGW blew it on several apecifics such as the return of Jesus. And her "investigative judgment" thingie is pure hokum.

She simply founded a new cult from the ashes of a failed one, "Millerism".

Same run around we get from all SDA's here. What context do you need? Yes, it's a simple question which SDA's have a lot of trouble answering simple questions. The Gospel is simple, not complex.

So I will try again. Simple question for you. If YOU sin are YOU saved?

Matt 18 is posted over and over as one who is saved by grace, not of himself, then sins and is lost. Which then makes it "saved" of himself. So you do not believe one is saved by grace and this not of yourself. Your actual arguments prove you do not practice what you preach.

You missed a question...So when Jesus forgave the woman caught in adultery she became saved by faith according to your beliefs??

You have to undermine what Jesus says with flaw interpretation of someone else says about Jews.

The fact you can't say amen to what Jesus says without a personal opinion in addition is a sin.

The context I need is what I stated in my response. Why are you posing the question? Is it because you believe saving grace allow you to continue sinning and simply covers your continuing in sin? This is not run around. It's a legitimate question.

But let me let scripture answer for me.

Romans 6:16 (KJV) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

    1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Uhhh, that's actually not a quote, steaver. We did however quote Jesus. And you seem to have a problem with what Jesus said.

And there you go with the SDA run around once again, can't answer a simple question. I have no problem with you referencing scripture, AFTER you answer yes or no.

So you posted these two references. My ONLY take away I can conclude is you posted these references to my simple question because you believe you are saved through law keeping. This goes against what you claimed when you said you believed we are saved by grace through faith and this NOT of yourselves. Law keeping is OF YOURSELF.

Same tired tactic. Cannot answer simple questions. Just say we all have a problem with what Jesus said. How instructive! Why not just admit what you believe? Why hide it? Just say you believe you are saved through law keeping.

A sacrifice would require it be killed. The scapegoat isn't killed but released into the wilderness. And the NT does not establish Sunday as a day of worship nor does it nullify any of the 10Cs including the 4th.

Are John and Paul talking about law keeping?

Here is the proper way to have a debate.

Side one asks a pointed question, yes or no.

    Opponent answers with...

    a) No, let me tell you why from scripture.

    b) Yes, let me tell you why from scripture

    My question for you...

Do you believe if you sin you will be damned to hell?

    Yes

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

Then your problem is with what John and Paul are saying.

There you have it. Typical SDA answer when they do not want to answer bc they know it will throw off their false teachings.

Funny part is all SDA use the same tactic. Must be what they teach you in the church, how to keep from answering tough questions.

Notice how I answered your question Yes or No first, then gave you scripture. Something you cannot do.

I can and will when you give me the context I asked for. Jesus used a similar tactic when the Pharisees tried to press him for an answer.

You gave Scripture you apparently disagree with, not that prove your position.
