Bible Study and Training

Would like some input from this group concerning bible study and training. I am in my early 60's and have been looking for an online Bible School or seminary where I could receive some structured training in the Bible and Christian service. Most of the schools I have looked at are very expensive and take a long time. I would like to find a course that I could finish in a shorter period of time and would provide me with the knowledge I'd need to assist with a ministry or enter into evangelism. I was saved and baptized at 15 but my participation has been up and down over the years. The Lord has always been with me and protected me through years in the military and a law enforcement career. I wish to do better toward Him now. Thank you.

You might try Gulf Coast Bible Institute. They offer online degree programs. P.O. Box 1451, Fort Walton Beach, Fl 32549.

When looking for the same, the Lord led me to Salt Lake Bible College. You can find them at Free Bible College online Salt Lake Bible College.

Thank you Dr. Cassidy.

This is exactly what I've been looking for.
The free courses are edited from the actual on campus courses that M.Div./Th.M students take in that combined degree program.

I have never taken a course at Dallas that I though was a waste of time. Everything I have taken has been very valuable for me. I recently took the online courses just as a refresher to remind me of what I had learned decades ago, and to get new insight in matters being studied.

Good stuff. I recommend it to everybody. Even if you disagree with some of what is taught (Dallas is much more dispensational than I am) I still get new insights into those issues and help me to better understand why they believe thusly.

May I first say I commend you for desiring to study and find a disciplined way to your Bible education. For me, I came across the same challenge of money. To that end, I found Salt Lake Bible College at Free Bible College online Salt Lake Bible College. This school, an accredited subsidiary of Salt Lake Baptist College, is an online Bible College which is free. The only cost to you is a $15.00 monthly records maintenance fee that they charge. You study at your own pace and can get certificates of several levels all the way to doctorate degrees. The president of the college, Dr VanBuskirk, is a personable and knowledgeable man who even answers his own phone and answers questions via email, sometimes within a few hours late at night.
