1 Corinthians 14:26
What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.
This verse in mind, I want to ask you guys and gals if I am interpreting it right to say that: "every once in a while someone may have a solid word of instruction on an issue that they may want to share and teach. However, these people obviously do not have the experience or bible study to be a regular Teacher." Whether that interpretation of 1 Corinthians 14:26 is correct is my question.
My biblical debate is "what are the qualifications of a Sunday School Teacher?" Is teaching the act of elders exclusively, or is it for those in the church who choose to be teachers and take on the responsibility of a harsher judgment (James 3:1).
This question is important to me, because in many ways debating theology on the BB seems to be a teaching act. Something I don't know if I am qualified to do from an ecclesiastical perspective.
