I have done extensive research in this area, and have read numerous systematic theologies. I suggest that if you disagree with my statement that you should come up with a single theologian who says that providence is miraculous. I have given several theologians who say that providence is a process. Can you list any--any at all--for your position? As they say, "Put up or shut up."

I have read all of your replies. And there has not been a specific, on point, response anywhere among them.

If God created the end from the beginning, how can divine providence not be divine? And not part of the ongoing miracle of creation?

“(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.” (Romans 4:17)

The topic? KJV 400 plus years old. All questions and answers relate to this. If you believe in predestination then providence is a part of creation. If you do not, then blind forces control the universe. Everything I've said revolves around this.

Another nonsensical response which has nothing at all to do with what John said.

It has everything to do with our conversation.

Now I see the problem. You don't even know what the topic of the thread is! The topic is "Why has the KJV been so popular?"

Predestination has nothing to do with the Providence of God in the context of this discussion.

    That is pure blasphemy.

Nothing you have said addresses the op.

I have no idea what you are trying to prove here. "Divine providence" being divine does not make it a miracle.

And the verse you quote has nothing whatsoever to do with the subject at hand. It doesn't even say "miracle" or "providence" or "preservation."

It looks like you can't answer my points so you are grasping at straws (and your straws are not even inserted in a Starbucks frappachino, to mix metaphors :Biggrin).

If you could replace insults with scripture or something of substance, I would be grateful.

Saying your response is nonsense is not an insult. It is a statement of fact. "Nonsense" means "not making sense." You are not making sense.

If God created the end from the beginning, then providence is the miracle of creation unfolding through time. If God created all things, it includes the New Heavens and Earth yet to unfold providentially.

It is in how you interpret scripture.

Are we off topic? The KJV miraculously provided for over 400 years as the preferred translation of his word?

    You most certainly are.

No, again, the topic is "Why has the KJV been so popular?"

The KJV is very beautifully written; it is reliable as Tyndale provides the basis for the NT and Pentateuch; and intellectuals don't use it--it is the flower of the English Reformation where so many sealed their testimony with their blood.

... and KJV can be published in the USA without paying copyright, making it popular with printers.

Could it be, you do not understand what I'm saying? I base my creation and miraculous providence claims squarely on the 1689 LBC, chapter three, article one. This is not foolishness or nonsense, but it reinforces my position.

I understand. You are speaking jibberish. You circumvent every honest question and instead of answering you throw up a screen of dust to hide behind.

LOL! "Miraculous providence." This alone proves you don't have a clue. Miraculous is direct creation. Providence is watch-care over time.

    Foolishness and nonsense.
