Divorce before conversion able to marry

Divorce does not exist in God's sight. People who divorce are still married whether saved or not.

Above and beyond all of this, "divorce" is not the "unpardonable sin". Forgiven is forgiven ... "go and sin no more".

Divorce was an Old Covenant provision. Jesus replaced the Old Covenant with the New Covenant. The New Covenant makes no provision for divorce. Divorce = unforgiveness. But unbelievers divorce even though it means nothing in God's sight. They are still married.

What if the "saint" now burns with passion? Reconciliation is not possible and YOU deny them the command that it is better to marry than to burn. Where is the "peace" in that?

Where is it written that any pagan marriage ceremony is "what God has joined together"?
Is sleeping with a temple prostitute before salvation "marriage" to the prostitute? Which husband must claim her and which husbands are required to repent of adultery?

Freed to remarry, but has to do that if she chooses to with a fellow Christian...

I have known some who were against divorce so much that those who had divorced and remarried years before being saved, they still denied them entrance into their churches. Yet, when they had their wives bolt on them, it was amazing how quick they saw their 'errors' and got re-hitched.

I bet many who are anti-remarriage post divorce would quickly change their tune if their wife bolted.

If you can find divorce = unforgiveness on the part of one seeking divorce, as a Christian virtue in the NT, you might have a point. But it is purely a pagan law, like abortion, that God does not validate.

No, because God's elect will not remain in any unpardonable sin. But remarriage = adultery to be repented of.
