These are of the hierarchy the more plain "wolves in sheep's clothing" however in many cases you are correct they are clever deceivers.

    2 Corinthians 11
14 ... Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Yes not just in the Churches of Rome but likely in many non-Catholic church pulpits are cleverly disguised "wolves in sheep's clothing".

They are both the same. They are unconverted people who come into the churches for a time, profess faith but deny it in their lives (e.g. Jude 4)..

What's even worse are the tares, the children of the evil one who have infiltrated the churches and taken root.

I appreciate and agree with your response, but that is in hindsight.

Mat 7:6 KJV Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

The scripture instructs us not to give them access to the things of God in the first place.

At least that is my understanding of it.

I believe we're given a Biblical example of the gist of the command here:

7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said unto them, Ye offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Mt 3

It's clear (to me) that by 'dogs, swine, wolves, serpents, etc.' God's ENEMIES are in view.

Sir, please note that other churches ( not baptistic) have no such agenda to accept only born again saved... we are unique in that. The shocking thing is that Christ did come for sinners and he even says so. Given that, how do Baptists reconcile their present agenda? Frankly this revelation has kept me up at night.

I don’t view them as Gods enemies as much as merely unsaved people. God could raise up rocks to worship and love Him. The test is can we regenerated Christians love them even though they produce evil upon the kingdom.

Personally I believe there are two worlds.... the one that is Gods, the Kingdom of God and then there is the world of the fallen man. I’m convinced we have a foot in each with commitments to work with the Spirit in order to transform it to Gods kingdom and that’s why it’s so vital to be involved in a church with saints walk-in the earth preaching the word. We as true Christians can’t allow the unbeliever to infiltrate the core but they are free to come and observe, come and see the transformative love of God that the HS may change their hearts. We are instructed by Christ to love our enemies and do good to them that persecute you...then you will be sons of the father in heaven.

Well, it is up to the Lord to make that determination. See how He had to vividly show them in order to believe,

    Unsaved people ....
The warnings CANNOT apply to our relationships with the unsaved. We have the Gospel message for them.

The warnings apply to evil people within the congregation who are abusing their position, teaching error, leading followers after themselves, etc.

    Hebrews describes their ilk -
6:4 It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallenaway, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. 7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

10:26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ and again, ‘The Lord will judge his people.’ 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

12:15 See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. 16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. 17 Afterwards, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even though he sought the blessing with tears, he could not change what he had done.

Specific examples would be the Pharisees who heard & saw Jesus & the signs he gave, & heard his warnings, yet rejected him, & the Apostolic Gospel. Later on some did apparently believe but sought to cause division - Acts 15 -
5 Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, ‘The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.’

    John warns of such -
2 John 7 I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them. 11 Anyone who welcomes them shares in their wicked work.

3 John 9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will not welcome us. 10 So when I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, spreading malicious nonsense about us. Not satisfied with that, he even refuses to welcome other believers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.

See also the 7 letters of Revelation.

How about a politician of lofty stature that allows people to believe that he is a "Baby Christian" when he shows no sign of repentance & transformation?

I don't think he's trying to corrupt the church or the Gospel, but he is exploiting the "evangelical" enthusiasm for all things Israel, including - Jerusalem as capital; massive aid; reducing aid for Israel's victims; not condemning or even recognising Israel's war crimes.

How about a person, say some random poster, who does not know a person, has never met the person, knows nothing about the person except what has been publicized by the biased media, who, nevertheless, claims to know the heart of the person and seems to exhibit a very nasty streak of arrogant judgmentalism?

Heaven forbid we allow Israel to decide what city is their capital!

    Less than to Afghanistan.

And what victims would that be? You mean the victims created by the UK when they presumed the right to divide the middle east in 1918 which started this whole mess?

And what war crimes are those? Strapping bombs to children and putting them on school buses? Oh! Wait! That wasn't Israel!

Or maybe the systematic destruction of crops and slaughtering of livestock, the burning down of homesteads, poisoning of wells and salting of fields. Uh, well, no. That wasn't Israel either.

The burning down of the village of Ventersburg including its Dutch Reformed church and destroying all the farms in the vicinity and refusing to allow any supplies being sent from the railway to the town. Oh, wait. That wasn't Israel either!

Really? And all this time I thought I was not a Dispensationalist, American or otherwise. Because I believe Israel has the right to choose which city is its capital, to receive military aid from the US, that terrorism should not be rewarded, or for believing Israel has not only the right to exist but has the right to defend itself makes me an "American Dispensationalist?" I thought that had something to do with how certain parts of the bible are understood, not middle eastern politics.

    Why didn't somebody tell me!

How bout if that person who has worked in the NY construction who actually knows the random politician... maybe because he assisted in designing buildings and has seen first hand his operation... further knows the speaker of the house in a state that has shore property that has/had gambling casinos that all went bust and personally heard that reprehensible politician cuss out the Publican for not showing favoritism to that dirtbag because he’s sooo special... just for starters. How’s about that!

Glad you finally figured it out. BTW, you and I and all who are not blood Jews are considered Goyem. From their prospective, you know what that really means to them? Hint, it’s all in the blood.

And you know this person, personally, and heard him, in your presence, make these charges?
Another absolutely meaningless replay. If you did not claim to be a Christian I would think you might have a drinking problem. :(

Stay in your bubble, that’s exactly where you belong. Also I choose not to drink, but if I did it’s none of your business.

Oh and lastly, yes I did hear it and the speaker broadcast it on the public radio for all to hear what a nut job he really is.

What is special about the country calling itself Israel that renders it free to commit whatever atrocities it wants, to drive out the indigenous population & take over its resources? And to fence off, besiege & bomb the population of Gaza, their homes, schools & hospitals & infrastructure, sink their fishing boats, shell children playing football on the beach, all with impunity?

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
