Sure... and I will vote for Trump the day he repents and comes to Christ
Clinton and Carter were born again Presidents - Need I say more.
When it comes to elections - I vote based on their record and platform - not necessarily their religious views.

The official stance of the libertarian party on abortion is return it to the states. No federal amendment.

No, not necessarily (though the LP platform shows the party is trying to walk a pretty thin line). Murder and marriage are laws that the Federal government have traditionally left up to the states, and I think that is the best way to handle it in a Constitutional Republic.Which means they are pro-abortion.
We legislate against all kinds of sins -- murder, theft, assault, and so on. These laws are best left to the states, since, imo, it is within their purview according to the Constitution of the U.S.A. From the standpoint of the state, they are not legislated against because they are sins, but because they harm and/or infringe on the rights of others. Abortion certainly does that!I am also against attempting to legislate sin away.

Public forum. Anyone gets to respond.

But then you have a blue state/red state issue to contend with, right. There is no consistancy to monitoring & regulating. No, not necessarily (though the LP platform shows the party is trying to walk a pretty thin line). Like all other state laws against murder, I suppose. There is no consistancy to monitoring & regulating.
They will regulate it according to worldview. As my wife stated to me recently.....It's a business, a Moneymaker. You dontwant to provide abortions in Texas, perhaps they will do it in Mexico.... you dont want to do it in Pennsylvania then go to New Jersey. Again, where there is a will there is a way. So nothing will change. Only Christ (IMO) changes the heart.Like all other state laws against murder, I suppose.
All laws are legislated morality. The only question is whose morality the law is based on.I am also against attempting to legislate sin away. Abortion is an extreme case I know. But women will get abortions by non-compliant doctors legal or not.
Murder violates the 14th Amendment and it becomes a federal issue. It means if abortion is murder then the state should be allowed to charge as such.
You already do that.Thats fine....then I can barge into all your conversations then.![]()
Then why have any laws? They will regulate it according to worldview. As my wife stated to me recently.....It's a business, a Moneymaker. CorrectI am also against attempting to legislate sin away. Abortion is an extreme case I know. But women will get abortions by non-compliant doctors legal or not.
So the MD's can charge more. Why have any regulations? Then why have any laws?
Any laws about anything was the question? So the MD's can charge more. Why have any regulations?

You know California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and a few others will. The key is not approaching abortion as a challenge to Roe V. Wade, but attacking it from the point of the 14th Amendment. The Supreme court could instantly make abortion illegal in all 50 states if they ruled that the 14th applied to the unborn baby.Hopefully states will not legalize that kind of murder.
