Evening from a dreary England.

Some may recognise my name from another prominent forum where I served as Admin, but I got sick and tired with the majority of threads being politically-charged.

I am hoping political topics are far less prevalent here. Liberal, conservative, it shouldn't matter. We're bothers and sisters.

As for me, I work in a hospital, love football(Browns and Alabama), baseball(Reds) and hockey. I'm also a keen photographer.

In the past I have considered ministry and travelling to the U.S. to study at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Living in the UK I am reminded regularly of the calibre of theologians we once produced and the material they delivered... sadly a far cry from what we see today with a watered down gospel in the Church of England and the Charismatic movement taking hold with independent churches and Pentecostal plants. It's hard to see and not want to do something about to bring more attention to sound doctrine.

Anyway, looking forward to meeting you all.

Yours in the Lord,

PTL

Just South of San Francisco, CA. Being where God has in His Providence has placed me, I can say I'm close to the Promised Land. After all, you've seen pictures of sunset looking west from the east side of the Golden Gate Bridge? As a native of SFO, I think it looks like the Shikineh Glory.
Where do you live PTL?

Hay is just on the Welsh side of the border, so we are in Wales for several hours every week. The church is about 200 yards from the border.

Where do you live PTL?

I live outside a city called Peterborough. About 30 miles north of Cambridge and 80 miles north of London.
