The kingdom of God is such a wide topic I hesitate to offer a suggestion, could you narrow it down a bit?

Re: inspiration, I’ll offer a foundational book that is quite eye-opening, written recently by two excellent communicators. Be aware, it’s not simple reading, written on an academic level.

The Lost World of Scripture, by John H. Walton and D. Brent Sandy (2013)

The book is arranged in two main parts, OT (Walton) and NT (Sandy), with additional parts on interpreting the biblical genres and on the authority of Scripture.
Both authors walk you step-by-step in a series of propositions that lead you towards a deeper understanding of the doctrine of Biblical inspiration.

If you want more, go to cvbbs.com and type in your interests in the search bar especially for the K of G

I can see another one or two that might interest you

Do not forget to select title instead of “all information”, it will narrow your search down considerably

Don't they actually though deny the historical truth of genesis, and come down into more of a partial revelation/inspired viewpoint?
