So, the prosecution couldn't prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. It's the defense lawyer's job to make them do so. And he' done that.

So we are back to the communist Chomsky. Dershowitz is Jewish. He is considered the leading professor of law in the United States although he is retired now. He worked at Harvard Law School. What is wrong with the Seventh-day Millerites? Are they all communists?
He was not the lead lawyer on that case and the problem was with the Judge and the prosecution. Read Vincent Bugliosi's book Outrage.

Correction noted: Alan Dershowitz is a Jewish enemy of civil liberties and an apologist for Zionist atrocities. Furthermore, labeling Noam Chomsky a communist is just as misleading as labeling the Christians described in Acts 2:44-47 as communists.

Who should listen to Alan Dershowitz? He is a proven unabashed liar that shamelessly perpetuates baseless accusations and invalid arguments. He was also one of the defense attorneys for the infamous murderer O.J. Simpson.

I already dealt with the OJ case above. Dershowitz is a liberal Democrat who voted for Hillary. He tore up Finkelstein in the video you posted because Finkelstein does not want a free Israel.
Tell me, are all Seventh-day Millerites commies?

To the degree that I understand it, I accept this belief system as a vague tautology that is nevertheless free of the oppression in both Communism and Capitalism. For a valid description of my untestable political theories, I prefer to label myself a Christian communalist. I also happily confess that Christian communalism is a truly Christian version of socialism. But this is all academic since the global Empire that exists today, which is Babylon the Great, will continue in its current form until God destroys it utterly.

An acclaimed Harvard Law School professor, Alan Dershowitz had an enviable life filled with book deals, speeches, and wealthy clients. He frequently appeared as a guest on network and cable television shows, often staking out controversial positions on issues relating to the criminal justice system. His appetite for publicity seemed insatiable.
At the time of the murders, Dershowitz was just finishing a book called The Abuse Excuse--and Other Cop-Outs, Sob Stories, and Evasion of Responsibility. Concerned that Dershowitz's thesis may negatively impact Simpson's case, Shapiro decided to hire Dershowitz, in part to "shut him up." Rarely present in court, Dershowitz spent most of his time handling motions and other support documents. His main assignment was to prepare for possible appellate review of an adverse trial outcome.
In his book, The Best Defense, Dershowitz gave a view of the approach he would later take in the Simpson case. "Once I decide to take a case," Dershowitz wrote, "I have only one agenda: I want to win. I will try, by every fair and legal means, to get my client off--without regard to the consequences." In his memoir The Best Defense, Dershowitz noted that "almost all of my clients have been guilty."

What of it? The parents of Norman Finkelstein were holocaust survivors. And Noam Chomsky's parents were Jewish and ran a Jewish school. And Finkelstein was a student of Chomsky.
So everyone except Dershowitz is a commie pinko and so are all the Seventh-day Millerites.
