Evolutionists aren't out to get God.

It is just useless to say "God did it." when it comes to the existence of the universe and life.

Many Christians say that, for a lack of a better word, the nature of God is unknowable. That we cannot know how God created everything. I will concede some say that they can get to know some about God's personality through forming a relationship with God and through the Bible as it is claimed to be his word. Though these claims are not testable, nor relevant to what I am going to bring up.

That leads into words from Issac Asimov who can bring up my point far better than I can.

"Indeed, many supernatural explanations are rejected not because they are supernatural but because they cannot or do not lead anywhere. It is possible to come up with any number of possible explanations for anything - lost socks could be caused by extradimensional vortices which our observations prevent from forming; hiccups could be caused by evil spirits inside us trying to escape; stock market fluctuations could be caused by the secret manipulations of powerful extraterrestrials. Scientists reject such claims on the grounds of parsimony. All of these claims are possible, but they require adding complicated entities which there is no adequate evidence for. To make matters worse, the nature of those entities effectively prevents investigation of them, and the impossibility of investigation prevents us from learning anything new about them. We cannot conclude that any of these explanations are wrong. But from a scientific standpoint, they are worse than wrong; they are useless."

If a claim is not testable, it is useless.

Science can test some claims made based on some interpretations of Bible scriptures. Noah's flood being a literal global flood for example. Science can search for evidence to support or falsify a global flood. Geology and paleontology have discovered a multitude of evidence falsifying a global flood.

Young Earth Creationist interpretations of the universe being less than 10,000 years old is another. Physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, geology, pretty much all lines of science have found evidence falsifying that belief.

Science doesn't look to disprove God. It has been resoundingly successful falsifying claims made by man about the universe around us that involve their own beliefs about God's activities.
