Racism is as old as sin and according to American evolutionist Professor Stephen Jay Gould made worse by Darwin, who thought that whites were a higher form of evolution.
Racism is not as old as sin.
If one truly believes macro evolution, and if one faithfully follows all its evidences and accurately plugs them into its theories, then one has no choice but deduce whites are the highest form of evolution.

Good thing I don't believe in macro evolution.

What aspect of macroevolution logically entails belief in a hierarchy of human races and that the white race is the most superior of them all?

It's true that biological racism is a comparatively recent development of the 19th Century but Christians-including those who did not believe in evolution-have not been immune from it given their defences of race-based slavery or in more extreme cases, "two seed" doctrines that denied that nonwhite races were descended from Adam.

I like your name.

Darwin is one of those guys who rules from the grave. As you know, the book of Genesis has been under attack for a couple of centuries. Where do you stand on all this?

That would be a benign human expression...
Four possibilities as I see it:

1) The earth is motionless (which Relativity allows)
2) If Relativity is true, then God's preferred coordinate plane is earth-centered.
3) Jesus was ignorant of the facts
4) Jesus knowingly attributed something untrue to His Father because of the ignorance of his audience.

5) None of the above. The whole human race says the sun rises--it is a figure of speech, nothing more and nothing less.

It is Allah who lied. He said that the sun sets in a pool of muddy water:

“They will ask thee of Dhu'l-Qarneyn. Say: I shall recite unto you a remembrance of him. Lo! We made him strong in the land and gave him unto every thing a road. And he followed a road Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness. He said: As for him who doeth wrong, we shall punish him, and then he will be brought back unto his Lord, Who will punish him with awful punishment! But as for him who believeth and doeth right, good will be his reward, and We shall speak unto him a mild command. Then he followed a road Till, when he reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had appointed no shelter therefrom. So (it was). And We knew all concerning him.” S. 18:83-91 (Pickthall)

Christ said His father "maketh His sun to rise." And didn't Joshua say the sun stood still? So what really happened? What is the truth? Did the sun stand still or did the earth stop rotating?

[Edit: LOL, I typed Moses instead of Joshua at first]

Since you are the one with the complaint (on behalf of old earth deep time I guess--correct me if I am wrong), why don't you answer your own question? Or do you agree with Muhammad that the sun sets in a muddy pool of spring water? :Alien:Alien:Alien

I stayed up all night last night wondering where the sun had gone. It finally dawned on me.
