Does the man change himself or does God change the man?.. Does the man birth himself or does God birth the man?.. I would like to hear the thoughts of anyone on here who had any control in their natural birth?... In the same vain you have no control in your spiritual either... I hear some say I accepted Christ?... No Christ accepted you!... I came to Christ... No the Holy Spirit brought you because Christ bought you... You are not your own you are brought with a price... Its not because of your living, it’s because of Gods giving... He placed you in Christ, you didn't place yourself... Your are in the Family of God because God put you in his Family!

You came into his Family by the birth, life, death, burial and resurrection of his Son Jesus Christ... You didn't join the Family, you were added to it... You were adopted…You were the children of wrath even as others... It wasn't what you did to escape the wrath of God it’s what Christ did for you, to appease the God of wrath, who you offended in Adam... It’s time to give God all the glory, to toss your crowns at Jesus feet, quit patting yourself on the back... Where is the Sovereign Grace of God in that?... There is none!… God changed my heart, my cold stony and wicked heart and made it a heart of flesh, same as he did yours… He put me in Christ and did likewise to you and all of us, who belong to him.

So work out your own Salvation because you own it, not to get it… Is there anyone on here that works a job they don’t have?.. You work Salvation to get the riches blessing from God that is your reward in this world, you work out the will and the to do of God in you… And God bestows his blessing when he knows we need them and not when we think we do and in the most amazing ways… Eternal life is your reward in the next and you did nothing to deserve that either… It’s all by the Sovereign Grace Of Almighty God by his Son Jesus Christ… So quit polishing your crowns, quit patting yourself on the back, quit pushing out your chest… We are all sinners saved, just like the rest… Because the God of Glory showed his Sovereign Grace, Mercy and Love to us in his Son Jesus Christ and changed the man and women too!… Brother Glen:)

Some of what you say here is true God did place me in the family of God
saved me by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, Something you left out is very important. No faith, no Salvation. It's as simple as that.
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Scripture never says we offended God through Adam. I do not pat myself on the back I can't reach back that far.
You are wrong God didn't change you until you had faith. You may have changed your self. God doesn't save you unless you believe in Him
You can deny we are saved by Grace through faith until the cows come home but that will not change the truth.

Eternal life is not the reward. A reward is payment for a Job well done. Salvation is a gift the very same gift you claim is faith
It’s all by the Sovereign Grace Of Almighty God by faith in His Son Jesus Christ. You keep forgetting faith. I wonder why?. Is it because you can't see the word in Eph 2:8 ?

    Its not a joke.

You cannot take a SINGLE BREATHE unless by GRACE OF GOD.

Jesus Christ is the SUSTAINER. The VERY soul of anyone who is a alive is by Jesus.

God's grace is exclusive hence the folks who don't exist DON'T and those that do exist DO.

Of course The Calvinist have it figured out. They Claim God did it. If they sin they claim God caused it. It's all God's fault. Nothing happens on Earth unless God does it. We are all just puppets on a string.

You think you are being scoffed because of the gospel. It's not because of the gospel it's because of your false doctrine. If everything and everyone is controlled by God then there is no purpose for living. In your view God saves man so He will have someone to manipulate. If Calvinism is true then you will be manipulated the rest of eternity. That my friend is a very sad existence in deed.

Your the one who wrote your post and you only mentioned Grace. You did not mention that Grace can only come through faith. You made it sound as if it wasn't needed just like all Calvinist you believe man is saved to have faith instead of having faith to be saved

    Acts 5:31, ". . . to give repentance . . . ."
    Acts 11:18, ". . . granted repentance unto life. . . ."
2 Timothy 2:25, ". . . if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; . . ."

Repentace precedes faith (Mark 1:15). I agree faith precedes salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9).

And those first lines of your piece take you off course the rest of the way. You're going on the premise that natural birth is an absolute template of what spiritual birth is like. Sorry but it's not!

Think of spiritual death. Calvinists likewise make the same mistake. Physically speaking something dead has cessation of consciousness. That is not the case with what spiritual death is or what someone spiritual dead is like. The spiritually dead have the capacity to think, reason and respond. See the rich man in hell...out of his body but able to talk, think reason and even give a request.
    (Luke 16: 19,31)

Point: You can't just take a concept and arbitrarily state every aspect of one is the same as the other. You DO have control over your spiritual destiny that is from the standpoint of the choice God has given each one to make.

Christ is willing to accept all who choose to receive the reconciliation he's provided for the whole world. It's two parties accepting each other not a forced relationship. 2 Cor 5:19

Ah no. God bought and purchased redemption for the whole world. Yes we're bought with a price the by the precious blood of Jesus 1 Cor 6:20 but this world has the redemption stamp upon it for everybody HOWEVER only those who'll choose to believe and receive and identify with Christ will experience the actual reality of salvation in their spirit. When Paul stated "Be ye reconciled to God" he meant that very thing....they could. 2 Cor 5:20

Like I said your first few lines were wrong and that's why you say this Yes we were born again BUT the spiritual consciousness did choose to receive LIFE (that is the eternal life) Again you're insisting that a natural thing is an absolute template for things in the spirit. Sorry but that's a mistake.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
    John 1:12

The Christian is added to the family of God AFTER THEY choose to receive him. That's very clearly stated.

Or is it rather the time for you to stop being judgemental towards others in something you just don't clearly understand? I'd contend you're crossing the line and being unkind to suggest Non-Calvinists are patting themselves on the back as in glorifying self. Sorry but I'll take your criticism and throw it away like a frisbee.

If a life guard saved my life and I reached out my hand to grab his I wouldn't be patting myself on the back that I somehow saved my life. Nor would anyone! Your way of reasoning is, that we'd have right to because of our action. Nope sorry that type of reasoning doesn't work in the REAL WORLD.

Would you even say that if you were interviewed after a life guard saved your life...."Oh no he didn't really totally save my life! I saved it too!" You'd NEVER say that for you know the language wouldn't be proper to apply. So why do you Calvinists make light of believers when they claim they had nothing to do with their salvation but yes they did actually have to believe and receive? Much appreciated if you'd give that some thought.

Non-Calvinists aren't doing that. You need to stop being unkind and judgemental and reconsider your position. Again much appreciated if you would.

    What MB really means:

Some of what you say here is true God did place me in the family of God saved me by grace through [MY] faith in Jesus Christ

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through [YOUR] faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

It’s all by the Sovereign Grace Of Almighty God by [MY] faith in His Son Jesus Christ

It’s all by the Sovereign Grace Of Almighty God by [MY] faith in His Son Jesus Christ.

Lol, ...'your faith; and that not of yourselves'....

You explain what I believe about as well as you do of what God says. You put your twist in it. So goes the false claims of Calvinism.

I do not find your argument worth while. Like a JW you are so self convinced and blinded by the nonsense you call Calvinism You can't understand the truth. If God gives one faith then that faith becomes there's. Even you admit that faith is a gift.

Anyone with a lick of common sense who believes that baloney wouldn't even debate you about anything, since you don't have the GNOSTIC reception to ever understand the scriptures.

I'm telling you brother, The concept of Calvinism is so silly. I could be the PERFECT CALVINIST. Their leader in one day.

The SMARTEST Calvinist are those hyper Calvinists like westboro baptist. The one's who tells you God hates these folks and those folks. They actually almost got it perfectly.
