The physical plain of Megiddo is nowhere near Jerusalem (old), but rather far to the north, and it also could not sustain such an army. Besides, when Jesus returns in the second advent, He does not come down to touch the earth, but the saints go up to meet him in the air, to return unto the Father.

What would be the point of gathering all the world's armies into a local spot on earth? The devil isn't stupid. Those armies of the various nations, and kings of the earth, will be used in their locations around the globe to try to attack God's faithful people who are still alive before Jesus returns the second time, to destroy them completely and wipe them off the face of the earth. They are not after the Head, they are after the body (Acts 9:4, 22:7, 26:14), who represents the Lamb on earth.

It is a reference found only in the Hebrew scripture (aka, OT;TaNaKh) which was written in Hebrew.

It specifcally says it is a "place", not a nation as "Magog" is a nation of peoples (Rev. 20:8), even again, found in the OT (Gen. 10:2; 1 Chr. 1:5; Ezekiel 38:2, 39:6).

God uses the natural of the OT to explain the spiritual of the NT, as found in 1 Cor. 15:44-46 and every parable, and prophecy.​

So, you see Rev. 13:1-2 beast as "antichrist" and the '2nd' beast, Rev. 13:11, as the "false prophet"?, is that a correct understanding of what you said? I ask, so that I may share my position on it in reply.
