Featured WHERE DOES IT SAY GOD'S SABBATH IS ABOLSIHED AND WE ARE COMMANDED TO KEEP SUNDAY AS A HOLY DAY?

The challenge I am putting up here in the OP is for anyone to show even one scripture that says God's 4th Commandment of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:8-11) which was spoken and written by God himself to his people, has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

Can anyone please show me where in all the bible does is say (SOLA SCRIPTURA; Scripture only please)...

1. That God's 4th commandments 7th day Sabbath has been abolished?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

Something to think about here because we are all accountable to God come judgment day where we will all be judged by the Word of God (John 12:47-48).

God's Word makes it very clear that if we follow the teachings of men over the Word of God we are not following God...

MATTHEW 15:3-9 [3],
[3], But he answered and said unto them, Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
[4], For God commanded, saying, Honor your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.
[5], But you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift devoted to God, whatsoever you might have received from me;
[6], And honors not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have you made the commandment of God void by your tradition.
[7], You hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
[8], These people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9], But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

If we are KNOWINGLY breaking ANY of God's commandments we are not worshipping God.

Please do not make things up you cannot prove from the scriptures. If you have God's WORD than share it. If you do not why pretend that you do? Let's talk scripture as only God's WORD is true and we should believe and follow it. Ignoring God's WORD does not make it dissappear.

Now according to God's Word the disciples met together "EVERY DAY" of the week.

ACTS 2:46-47 [46], And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, [47], Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Now please show me where the scripture is that says Gods' 4th commandment has been "ABOLISHED" and we are now commanded to keep "SUNDAY" or the first day of the week as a "HOLY DAY"?

Or where is the scripture that says that "SUNDAY" or the first day of the week is "THE LORDS DAY"?

Your also welcome to answer any one of the questions proposed in the OP if you cannot answer these two if you finding it difficult if you like.

Now if you have no scripture and God's Sheep are those who hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him *JOHN 10:26-27 than who do you follow? Something to pray and think about. Especially when it is JESUS (not me) that says in His own Words that all those who "KNOWINGLY" follow the teachings and traditions of men that break the commandments of God are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9.

According to God's Word (not mine) in the NEW TESTAMENT Gods' law gives us the KNOWLEDGE of what sin is when broken *ROMANS 3:20. God's 4th commandment is one of God's 10 commandments that give us the knowledge of what sin is *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7: 1 JOHN 3:4. According to God's WORD (not mine) if we break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11.

According to God's WORD in times of "IGNORANCE" God winks at but when he gives us a "KNOWLEGE" of the truth of his Word he expects us to "BELIEVE and FOLLOW" it *ACTS 17:30-31. At this time if we reject God's WORD in order to follow man made teachings that break the commandments of God there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of the judgment to come *HEBREWS 10:26-39.

Yep many going to be disappointed come judgment day thinking they had salvation but were living in sin *MATTHEW 7:22-26. Now brother what is it that I have said that is not true and if I have only told you the truth, why do you not believe Gods' Word?

Why would you pretend such things when you have not provided a single scripture that says Gods' 4th commandment of the 10 commandments that gives us a knowledge of what sin is when broken has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day? Only God's WORD is true and you have provided none. If God's Sheep hear His Voice and follow him *JOHN 10:26-27 who are you following if you do not believe and do not follow God's Word?

 

God's Word is not garbage and you have provided no scripture that supports your Catholic teaching and tradition that has caused many to break Gods' Commandments.

God's people are in every Church and the hour is coming and now is that God is calling his people out from following man made teachings and traditions that breath the commandments of God back to following the pure Word of God *JOHN 10:16; REVELATION 18:1-5. God is a Spirit and those who worship him must worship him in Spirit and in truth * JOHN 4:23.

JESUS says all those who "KNOWINGLY" follow man made traditions that break the commandments of God are not following God *MATTHEW 15:3-9.

The question we must all ask ourselves is who do we believe and follow? Are we examining ourselves to see if we are in the faith *2 CORINTHIANS 13:5 How do we know that we know him? It is God's WORD not mine that says He that said, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. *1 JOHN 2:3-4. Do we know God when we have been given a knowledge of the truth of God's WORD and reject it in order to continue in known unrepentance sin? Not according to God's Word.

Many however break God's 4th commandment out of ignorance as a part of the fufillment of prophecy *DANIEL 7:25; EXODUS 20:8 and in times of this "IGNORANCE" God winks at but when he gives us a "KNOWLEDGE of the truth he calls all men everywhere to "BELIEVE and FOLLOW" his Word. *ACTS 17:30-31. If however we sin "WILLFULLY" after "RECEIVING A KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH" there remains no more sacrifice for sin but a fearful looking forward to of judgement to come *HEBREWS 10:26-39.

You have not provided a single scripture from God's WORD here or elsewhere that says God's 4th commandment has been abolished and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. Yet it is Gods' WORD alone in the NEW COVENANT that says if we break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11.

I would encourage all to read the threads you mentioned as they show through Gods' Word alone why you are following man made traditions that are not biblical. In fact I will provide the links here for all to read to prove that your posting here has no truth in it.

According to God's WORD if we as Christians keep 9 Commandments by faith and "KNOWINGLY" break any one of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11. That one sin if we knowingly continue in it will keep us out of God's Kingdom because all those who continue in "KKNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN" will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven because they reject the gift of Gods dear son *HEBREWS 10:26-39; HEBREWS 6:4-8.

What amazes me here is all these claims and accusations and not one person who opposes the OP here can provide a single scripture in support of the teachings and tradition of "SUNDAY WORSHIP" which has lead many to break God's 4th commandment which one one of God's 10 Commandments that give us a KNOWELDGE OF WHAT SIN IS when broken *ROMANS 3:20. Does this not worry you? It should. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters *REVELATION 14:7 Babylon is fallen. Time to come out from following man made teachings and traditions that break the commandments of God *MATTHEW 15:3-9; REVELATION 14:6-12; DANIEL 7:25; REVELATION 18:1-5

 

I do not believe in or do I support or practice abortion. I believe and follow Gods' WORD. What is it that you claim I have said that is not true here if I have only provided Gods' WORD? If I have only told you the truth than why do you not believe it? God's Sheep hear His Voice (the Word) and follow him (JOHN 10:26-27). Indeed Jon, love is the fulfilling of God's law in the heart of those who believe and follow Gods' WORD *HEBREWS 8:10-12; ROMANS 13:8-10; ROMANS 3:31. If we "KNOWINGLY" SIN (break any one of God's 10 commandments) *ROMANS 3:20; ROMANS 7:7; 1 JOHN 3:4 by breaking any one of God's 10 commandments *JAMES 2:10-11 we stand guilty before God of sin and are transgressors of Gods' LAW. JESUS is telling the truth. What LAW is he quoting? Yep the 10 commandments *EXODUS 20:1-17. How many commandments are in the 10 Commandments *DEUTERONOMY 10:4? Or are you trynig to argue that we do not have a duty of LOVE to God any more *MATTHEW 22:36-40? According to God's WORD if we break any one of them we stand guilty before God of sin *JAMES 2:10-11. Now do you have any scripture to share in relation to the OP here that says Gods' 4th commandment has been "ABOLISHED" and we are now commanded to keep "SUNDAY" as a Holy day? If you do not who do you believe and follow?
