All worked up over the TNIV, Albert Mohler in 2002 prophesied:

"Mohler said there are...pressures from those pushing political correctness....The language is being contorted so fast, he added, that in five to 10 years some will be arguing for the removal of words such as 'marriage' and 'family' from the Bible."

"'changes in the last several months have convinced me that...[the HCSB] is an important thing for Southern Baptists to do — if for no other reason than that we will have a major translation we can control.' Mohler was referencing the controversy over the Today's New International Version"

Al Mohler is not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet. In this he is akin to the global climate alarmists.

No true prophet is "almost a prophet. One is either a prophet or a _____ prophet. He isn't the latter, because he didn't claim to be a prophet. But his speculations were woefully off-course.

His speculations were dead in the water. Now I know you don't have a rudimentary knowledge of English, but this is absurd. He made his speculations in 2002. He said within five to ten years a certain result would happen. But in 2007 --nothing of the sort occurred, neither did they occur in 2012. Now it's 2020 and....nothing. Let me ask you, what Christians have been arguing for the removal of the words 'marriage' and 'family'? It has not been happening. What mainstream Bible translations are missing those two words? You need to come out of your fictional world of make believe and become honest about a variety of things.

How many churches have gone the way of the Homosexuality must be supported now by Church?
How many have gone the way that no real differences between men and women in roles of leadership and authority in local churches?
There is an agenda that is driving some of the newest translations!

Churches are composed of Christians for the most part. What you are addressing are non-Christian groups that call their gatherings churches.

The 'agenda' you made mention of has to evidence itself in the text of translations. You won't find what you constantly want to believe. You're just making stuff up like a fairytale. If you can't back up your charges with evidence from the actual text of translations you will prove to be a person without integrity. Don't be a rumor monger.

Well, ACTUALLY, "sodomite' became 'homosexual' to reflect the common meanings of both words. the word 'homosexual' was only coined in 1892, so it wasn't around for older English Bible versions, It has become the standard English word for those who are sexually attracted to members of their own gender.

And "sodomite" has become the label for those who practice a certain sexual act, done by regular married couples as well as by homos. it's not sinful when done by married men & women.

The changes reflect some of the overall changes in English.

Well, is He not the Messiah? And didn't gabriel tell Mary to name Him Yeshua? (Jesus is an ANGLICIZED form of Yeshua.)

But I WILL agree that if gendre-neutral is not the MOST-CORRECT translation of a given passage, it should not be used. I'm for translations being literal-as-possible, while being understandable in English.

Y-1, what I said above still stands. Leave the world of fiction behind.

Y-1 rarely reads his links. Most of the time his links don't even discuss the specifics he claims are in the links. Sometimes his links refute what he says. What Y-1 has do is his own homework instead of relying on others for his false information. Yet he has a creative mind and has thought up plenty of fiction on his own.

I guess many others have same fictional mindset as I do, as there are many Reformed and Baptist groups/churches/individual that agree with me that the Niv 2011 degraded the 1984 Niv!
