I spent a little time on that site, it's a KJVO site, & they do NOT wish to discuss the KJVO myth, & were ready to boot me cuz I'm not KJVO. This simply shows me many of them are clueless, & choose to blindly follow a false doctrine without looking at its nutz n boltz.

They're a little more-open to discussing cults & other false doctrines, but I haven't learned anything, & they don't seem too open to learning. And many of them treat me as if I'm an enemy insteada a fellow Baptist & Christian. I might remove myself from that site, as it seems to be a waste of time.

I did invite their members to come here & discuss the KJVO myth with me and others here, but I doubt if any of them will show. They don't want to know the truth.

You are as obsessed with anti KJV only are they are obsessed with KJVO. Trolling a site just to start arguments?

For many of the people on that site, the KJVO myth seems more-important than the Gospel.

On the #1-#5 KJVO scale based on the site rules where do they fall? I am personally a KJV advocate, while I might fall under a catagory #1, I do not consider myself KJVO.

The NKJV is not a KJV. It has its issues. But the NKJV is the only modern translation, at this time, that I would even recommend. Its best value are the NU, M footnotes in the NT.

I really like those CT/MT alternate readings at a glance, as just struck by how similar still the Modern versions and Nkjv are to each other!

Most of their members fall into #4 or 5. You can see how they erupt at the slightest word against the KJV ot KJVO myth.
Baptist Board Posting Rules for Bible Version Threads

"4. Do not bring dirty laundry from another forum into this forum."

It's not really "dirty laundry". It's about a false doctrine most of them believe, and some advice that some of their members might come here trying to defend their hooey.

Well a false teaching even on something regarded not a matter of salvation might be regarded as a "dirty laundry."

But at any rate, I hope that at least SOME of the members on that board would open their eyes to the TRUTH.

When they come here, they will quickly be made to look, well....
Until then, Why do I care?

Robby, personally, the KJV is my go to version. I grew up with it and I like it. I see it as no more accurate than most modern versions. I also see it as no less accurate than the modern versions. I like it best for the same reason my favorite ice cream is chocolate. Its a preference. I also own and read just about every non gender neutral modern version, but KJV is still my go to.
