I'm a former IFB, so perhaps.... They'd look a lot like me?
I don't know anything about Steve Anderson

Based on the Wikipedia article, the New IFB comes across as cultish. Their views, if the article is accurate, seem far from Baptist traditional views

I was a bit facetious saying the IFB is liberal -
The point being that Anderson is Ultra-ultra-ultra -fundamentalists

But then again when a person is given a label it is often relative.
For example, lets say Anderson does not even own a TV (which would not surprise me)
so if he were to say any IFB who owns a TV is no longer a true IFB - which makes him a liberal.

I'm definitely liberal by their standards!

Using the term "fundamentlist" in a very belittling, derogatory way. KJOnlyist may be made up of professed fundamentlists, but KJOonlyism is not fundamentalism.

Honestly I'm rather hurting right now. In multiple ways. Some of it inflicted by other Christians.

That’s tough to hear... that Christians hurt you. But we are not all mean spirited. I hope and pray you feel better and if you need to talk just reach out OK!

Who also happens to belong to the KJVO sect!

Read the wiki article linked to in the OP. It has no specifics that I could read, beyond most IFBs are not as bloody-minded as Anderson's group seems to be.

Would you prefer the title "FUNDY"? And yes, at least it used to mean the King James was the only version that wasn't a perversion, and so these others were rejected in the English.

Who also happens to belong to the KJVO sect!

And there's a problem with this because.........

1) How can Fundamental be derogatory?
I am proud to be considered a fundamentalist!

2) I would consider all KJO to be ultra fundamentalist!

So "37818" let me ask you - what is your definition of a fundamentalist?
