Thanks for posting this. I've got a CD of slack key guitar music from when we were in Hawaii on furlough from Japan. We had a supporting church there--tough duty, but someone has to do it.Anyone heard of slack key guitar-style? Some songs come up on my Pandora. Very pretty. This is called “Kohala Medley” by Sonny Lim.
Anyway, slack key is a unique sound, and I like it. In fact, the CD is of the Lim family as a I recall, and I think it has this song on it.Thanks for posting this

Unless you get depressed that you can't seem to get that lick right--just kidding.See? Playing guitar is good for you.
Taking Up Hobbies Can Prevent–or Reduce Symptoms of–Depression by a Third

Do you young whippersnappers know the name Jim Stafford? Here is a unique number by him, starting with "Malaguena," stopping for a joke, then going into "Classical Gas" with (get this!) "Flight of the Bumblebee" in the middle of it:
One of my college roommates was a semipro on the guitar, and he taught me "Classical Gas," which I still enjoy playing once in a while but have never really mastered. Just in case you younger guys don't know "Classical Gas," it was actually a hit song by Mason Williams on the pop music circuit in 1968 when I was in high school. Imagine that! Classical guitar updated and a top hit.
