    I'm not "Reformed" sir, nor have I ever been.

    That said, I'm not making a false accusation, sir, as I've officially retracted my statement and I further ask the reader for forgiveness on the matter.
    Regarding that subject, may I encourage you to avoid doing such?
    I cannot speak for anyone else on this forum, but I would much rather prefer being open, honest and civil regarding doctrinal discussions...
    and when errors are made, that we acknowledge such things.

    well, I do have some of my own "Methods" in doing things as a Christian, but not a member of that now almost "dead" denomination!

    Wesley loved a Calvinist Whitefield, and Whitefield did say that Wesley preached strong savior in a strong way!

    I don't think that apart from Jesus Christ and The Apostle Paul, there is any other in human history, that had a greater affect for the Christian Faith, than John Wesley!

    none as big an impact. Most of the non reformed denominations have their roots in John Wesley. Indeed I know of two reformed theologians, Iain Murray, and Roland Burrows (a personal friend), who are very much influenced by Wesleyan theology, among no doubt many others!

    His view of the Death of Jesus Christ, as being a ransom paid to the devil, is nothing short of blasphemy!

    agree, they have much error, but so do you Calvinists! especially on your "election", and "limited redemption", both more to do with "theology" than what the Bible says

    then how does one listen to him on other issues regarding salvation, when his view of the Death of Jesus is 1000% ERROR!

    Election is a biblical concept , and God did limit the atonement to just His own getting saved by the death of Jesus!

    same way I can take from a Calvin some of His views, but disagree on his eschatology and infant baptism!

    If the Death of Jesus Christ is specifically for "His own", as you guys think, the "elect". Then I must again press the issue of Judas, who did drink of the cup that represented Jesus' Death, and to whom Jesus said, "“This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for YOU" (Luke 22:20), which is for the "forgiveness of sins" (Matthew). It is abundantly clear from this, that Jesus made sure that Judas was present when this was done. If Jesus did not intend for Judas to be part of this, because His Death was not for "his sins", then surely Jesus would have waited a short time, when Judas left the room, and then gave the Lord's Supper. Theology is one this, but Bible Truth is far more important, and "reformed" theology on this is very much in error!

    that is not the issue. the fact remains that Jesus died for his sins and he was lost. which disproves the "theory" of the reformed, that all Jesus died for will be in heaven!

    Judas was never one of His sheep, so Jesus never died for Judas!
