For example, the plants were created from seeds but they grew and matured and bore fruit the same day so that they could be eaten the next day. So the stars and planets of the universe were created from nothing from vast distance but matured quickly the same day so that Adam saw what we see today at the end of the 6th 24 hour day.

 

Means one of two things. On the fourth day God created the stars and galaxies to be actually millions and billions years ago or God lies.

 

No, that is not what Dr. Faulkner said. Do you think that it is a lie that God created Adam to be 21 years old in one 24-hour day since everyone knows that a fertilized egg takes 21 years to be old enough to drink?

 

Adam being created is not the issue. What is at issue is what it means the stars and galaxies to have "matured quickly" on the fourth day. Unless God in fact created the stars and galxaies with real history, God is made out to a liar.

 

So God lied when He said that he created Adam in 24 hours instead of 21 years.

No. God creating man is not at issue. The stars and galaxies with a real history of millions and billions of years is at issue.

When it comes stars and galaxies we are speaking of actual millions and billions of years. Not mere appearances of age. Actual time is not mere appearane.

 

Then time is a lie! If God cannot create real millions and billions years of real time in a day then there cannot be any ex nihilo creation either!

 

God does not need to have extreme age, bit naturalists and evolutionists do!

You don’t want to debate plants and man but you say that stars are an issue because somehow God could not have done that in the same way. Illogical. That is why I reject the thinking if Hugh Ross. If God only took a minute or two to make an adult male from dust, then he could make anything in a minute or two if God is omnipotent.

 

I think that he is saying that speed of light tells us Universe very old and very big!
