What, by Jesus (the promised seed of Abraham through Isaac) obediently going away in death became available to be given to men and or people?

If it helps, I thought the same thing. I am trying to figure out how percho is making connection to Romans 9 with these verses. It's not readily apparent.

Well I am showing, "the election," is through only the promised seed of Abraham, Isaac, and even then because through Isaac to the promised seed, singular, Christ, the elect, who received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, which could then be poured into men as the spirit of adoption, thereby they await, the adoption, the redemption of the purchased possession, the body.

And, IMHO, that leaves only the question. How extensive is that, pouring out of the Spirit, unto the adoption?

and when the fulness of time did come, God sent forth His Son, come (born) of a woman, come (born) under law, that those under law he may redeem, that the adoption of sons we may receive; and because ye are sons, God did send forth the spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, 'Abba, Father!' Gal 4:4-6 YLT with born inserted, because I believe it to be better. I also understand to whom Gal was written.

Rom 8:11 YLT and if the Spirit of Him who did raise up Jesus out of the dead doth dwell in you, He who did raise up the Christ out of the dead shall quicken also your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you. - Is that the very same Spirit and the same Spirit in the following : V 15 for ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye did receive a spirit (Spirit) of adoption in which we cry, 'Abba -- Father.' -also V 23 And not only so, but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves in ourselves do groan, adoption expecting -- the redemption of our body;

My question? Was that Spirit available for Abraham, being Abraham was before the glorification of Jesus? Can God apply that Spirit to the corrupted flesh of Abraham and thus redeem the body of Abraham?

That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” . Like all believers, Abraham was saved by his faith in the Lord, as were all the OT "believers".

Correct, correct, correct.

And that promise was a promise of hope. Hope, contingent upon, the obedience of the Son of God, born of woman. sent in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin Rom 8:3. Going away in death. That was the faith of Abraham, that his seed (singular) Christ would be obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Faith is the substance of hope. The death of Christ was the faith of Abraham. He saw the death of Christ and his resurrection in Isaac, when God told him to sacrifice his only son. When Jesus said Abraham saw his day, he was speaking of the day of his resurrection.

Ps 118:22-24 A stone the builders refused Hath become head of a corner. From Jehovah hath this been, It is wonderful in our eyes, This is the day Jehovah hath made, We rejoice and are glad in it.

By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him (Christ) in a figure. Heb 11:17-19

Isaac to date has not been raised from the dead but the singular seed of Abraham Christ has. That is the day Abraham saw.
