Is Jesus the King of this World?

what is the purpose of this thread, if the verse you quote tells us YES?
Revelation 1:1-8
The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.
John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
According to these verses, Jesus is far more than what the OP is asking.

Premillennialists say that Christ is not ruling the earth.

Jesus Christ IS Ruling the entire universe
He is, but indirectly, as his direct rule awaits the second coming!
Just stop. Your shotgun blurbs don't contribute to the discussion and merely drive up the post count of a thread.
Go play somewhere else.
Jesus right now in fulfilling His role of being our great High priest, and the Kingdom reigning of Him has to wait until His second coming event!

He isn't.
He sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for His sheep, waiting until His enemies are made His footstool.
Per the prophecies in Isaiah, Zechariah, Micah and several others including Revelation, He will then return and establish His throne at Jerusalem;
His saints will rule and reign with Him for 1,000 years.
The Scriptures for this have been shown, Aaron.
If you don't want to believe them, then you don't have to.
Myself, I choose to believe them...
As I also choose to believe His word on other "controversial" subjects such as the resurrection of the dead, the "virgin birth", salvation by grace alone, water made into wine, God parting the Red Sea and a literal 6 day Creation.

If I’m reading the following verses correct, the next time He comes, He is coming to get his people, the bride of Christ, the Church, or we could say the Israel of God. He began to reign when He arose from the grave and ascended to the Father. He defeated death, hell, and the grave.
John 14:1-4 KJV
[1] Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. [4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

Matthew 28:18. "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth."
We all agree that Jesus is Lord, but that he is not direct ruling, for he is right now still permitted evil and sinful acts and deeds to be committed!
He rules, yet He ordains the rebellion of man until the last of the elect believes.
"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance."
~ 2 Peter 3:9
"And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations."
~ Mark 13:10
Yeshua, you are attempting to reconcile your dispensationalism and thus you are dismissing the eternal authority and rule of God the Son. Be careful.
Actually, trying to reconcile Covenant theology with premil, as Spurgeon, Boice, and me hold to that view!
