Stop acting so self righteous as if you;re the Judge of man.
Adam had freewill and so do we. scripture never says Adam lost it neither did anyone else. Your quoting Augustine, not scripture.

    LOL, read your own words.
You now claim you are like Adam before the fall.
Question: Did you save yourself by your own willpower?

Jesus stated that we are children of the devil and slaves to sin before born again, was he before Augustine?

Yet you can’t supply one verse that backs up your false teaching. You got this snobby idea man-centered only you have been granted capacity to please God. There is no independence. Every good act is from God and he is not limited from where or who it comes from.

Hi MB! What is your definition of freewill?
I believe a God given freewill would only be to do good and not evil, God wouldn't say "hey Adam, if you want to you can eat this fruit I told you not to eat" Adam was told not to eat so he couldn't "freely" eat of it even though he had the capacity to. No one has permission to sin even though we do, and it sounds like sin is the definition of freewill.

I want my will to be replaced by God's will; I want to be perfectly obedient. Christ was willfully perfectly obedient for us so when I fail to be obedient I rely on His success.

Christ Himself did not relish the cross, but chose to do God's will over His own. Luke 22:42.
People say that God has freewill and so do we, but God only has freewill to do good, and so do we.
People say God can do anything and with the snap of His fingers He can take out Satan if He wanted for example, but He really can't. God has already told us how Satan and our enemies will end in Revelations so God has to stick to that plan otherwise He would be a liar. God had a plan before the foundation of the world that no one can change and He won't change.

If you believe freewill is a God given right, it can't change the plan. Everyone has freewill tainted by the image of the first Adam Gen 5:1, but our freewill changes to the will of the second Adam when we are adopted into His body.
Freewill demands that everyone throughout time is given the opportunity to accept or reject Christ otherwise freewill isn't being honored by God, but everyone throughout time and humanity hasn't had access to the Word of God, and there is no other name under heaven by which someone can be saved.

There is a lot of different thoughts on freewill. Mine is the freedom to accept His invitation

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

We are invited to come to Him, and learn of Him. Jesus would not have done so, if we could not .

I love that! But has everyone throughout time been given the same opportunity?

I can't honestly say so, because no one knows but God.I can only pray that many will come to Hm soon. We are running out of time as we get closer to the rapture.

My typical answer to such a question would be, "Are you REALLY a Bible-believing Christian?" I've read your posts, and I believe you are. So, why, would you ask something so clearly taught to be true in Scripture? Just to continue an argument? Geesh! This place is ridiculous!

Can all lost sinners come to Jesus by themselves?

Why did you start a thread, posing as a neutral who refused to share his opinion, just to stir the pot? I am still waiting for your answer regarding your position on free will.
