Look up 'social credit scores', CCP has setup this system for Chinese people.
Of course it is bad. You are rated on a social score depending on things you say online, your views on many things. If you views the governments considers bad, your score will be very low. Plan is then companies will charge you more money, limit your credit, not allow entry, etc... you will be punished for having a low social credit score.
