The extra Biblical view of the adoption is being taught in that link.

The many that hold such extra Biblical views there is almost no point to try to correct this.

how so?

what is wrong w adoption?
There is nothing wrong with the adoption. To be placed as a son. We all who have been saved have received already the Spirit of it, Romans 8:15. And it is yet future, Romans 8:23. The term is only used by the Apostle Paul in three of his letters. John refers to it, but doesn't use the term, 1 John 3:2.

I read through the link that @Marooncat79 provided and counted 33 Scripture proof texts. Some of those were repeated, but to write the whole thing off in a sentence as 'extra Biblical' is a bit pathetic and definitely unworthy of you. It deserves a wee bit of thought from you.

On the contrary, 'You are [present tense] all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus' (Galatians 3:26), and having referenced Romans 8:15, how could you overlook the very next verse? 'The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are [present tense] children of God.' Or are you perhaps a stranger to that particular form of assurance?
Romans 8:23 refers to that Great Day at the end of time when we shall be publicly acknowledged by the Lord as His true children, but that is what we are right now (1 John 3:1-2).

The adoption is not now. If you do no agree, we are done here.

The adoption is defined by Romans 8:23. And that term is only used by the Apostle Paul 5 places.

Regeneration, according to the Bible, is being BORN AGAIN, as Titus 3:5 tells us. this is the NEW BIRTH, when the sinner is CONVERTED by the Holy Spirit, and becomes a child of God. What this link says, is theological nonsense!
There are several other terms that our Lord might have used in His conversation with Nicodemus: "You must make a new start;" "You must completely change your ways;" You must take a new path." But these are all things that we can do for ourselves. The one great event of our lives over which we have no control is our birth; we put in our appearance with a little squawk as if to say, "Ready or not, here I come!" The same is true of our second birth; we have no input into it. As you will know, the Greek word anothen usually means 'from above.' No earthly change can fit sinful men and women for heaven. We need a birth that comes, not from ourselves, but 'from above.'

I'm sorry to hear you say that. I provided Scriptural evidence to the contrary. But if, for your own reasons, you are unwilling or unable to consider it, there is no more to be said. Pity!

Your response is why. I cannot make those who see it the way you argued to understand. We are sons of God now, but not yet adopted. You are the one who is in denial here. By anyone repeating the same Scriptures is not going to change anyone's mind.
