John MacArthur - Salvation Possible for Those Who Have the Mark of the Beast

I have nothing to do with seven-year tribulations and so forth, so I will not comment on that part. I will just share this verse: 1 John 1:9. 'If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.' I see no qualification there. I do not believe that there is any sin so heinous that the blood of Christ cannot cover it.
With regard to Revelation 14:11, I would juxtapose Revelation 22:15. Are we saying that sexual immorality, lying and even murder cannot be forgiven if they are sincerely repented of?

Mr. MacArthur is in error.

Firstly, the Tribulation is not a 7 year period, it is a 3.5 year period ( that begins in the middle of the 70th "week" of years, Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15-22, Revelation 13:5 ) of the worst plagues, destruction and death that has ever happened ( or will ever happen ) to men.
It will take more lives than any other period of catastrophe except for the Flood of Noah's day.

Secondly, the Bible is very clear about those who take the mark of the beast...
They will indeed suffer the wrath of God, just as Revelation 14:9-11 tells us:

" And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

Those who take the mark will be tormented day and night, forever and ever.

But we do know from other passages that the "beast", or Anti-Christ, who has been given the power to rule for 42 months, shall not deceive God's elect...
Because false prophets and false christs will not be able to deceive them ( Matthew 24:24 ).

They will neither take his mark, nor will they be deceived into thinking that he is the Lord come again.

Well, what if a Christian was held down and forced to take the mark against her will? Would that remove Holy Spirit indwelling? Of course not.

In v.16 Paul is referring to the scars from wounds he endured during persecution for the cause of Christ.

The “mark” of God upon believers is indwelling Holy Spirit.

There is not ONE verse in the Bible that teaches, that anyone can be saved after they receive the Mark of the Beast. This is an impossibility, as this Mark determines that they are eternally damned.

that is not the point of what MacArthur is saying. He says that those who do receive the Mark of the Beast, whatever it may be, can be saved if they repented. This, the Bible says is IMPOSSIBLE

Your statement is simply untrue. Jesus clearly stated the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy the Holy Spirit, which was attributing the miraculous work of Holy Spirit to satan.

Christians have the mark of God upon them. Everything else is cleansed by the blood of Jesus.

You are taking a passage intended to be symbolic and claiming the grace of God becomes an impossibility for some people even if they repent and accept Christ by faith.

Shame on you for such false teaching.

The Mark of the Beast seems to be a very special case, as the person receiving it would know that means are denying Jesus is Lord...
They would be denying Jesus, and would be the ones who never were one of his own...
