Neither do I, but Van HATES monergism and Reformed Theology and the Doctrines of Grace and anything to do with TULIP ... so it must be something that interferes with his works-based synergism (he rejects even Classic Arminianism or Wesleyean Holiness). Since he refused to explain his cryptic abbreviations and chose to play the Gnostic (I know something that you don't) instead ... it seems time to shake dust on that fool and move on! [If I can mix metaphors.I don't understand what words "TSI" is a shortcut for.
Atpollard hates truth. He posts outrageous falsehoods over and over. @KenHAtpollard hates truth. He posts outrageous falsehoods over and over. Calvinism is false doctrine.
He claims the biblical view is works based. No one stands up for truth. Election based on faith is not a works based salvation. Romans 4:16. Calvinism is unbiblical. They say we were not saved through faith, but saved then given faith. They say those born anew do not earn rewards. They say Christ did not die as a ransom for all people, those to be saved and those never to be saved. They say people are unable to respond to witnessing miracles with repentance unless first regenerated. Basically they say the bible does not mean what it says. Then they charge me with adding to scripture.
They say those born anew do not earn rewards.
All you do is attack people rather than present your obviously false doctrine. You did not post truth. And the fact you deny the obvious, you did not post Van hates Calvinism, this is what you posted - "Van HATES monergism and Reformed Theology and the Doctrines of Grace and anything to do with TULIP ...." But I advocate "Monergism" and the "P" of the TULIP.
Truth is sufficient, as I was referring to rewards for faithful service after being born anew, not the gift of salvation. Your gospel does not reflect scripture as presented in verse after verse.Christ is the elect's reward. Do you not think that having Christ as a reward is sufficient? He is for me.
Genesis15:1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
Truth is sufficient, as I was referring to rewards for faithful service after being born anew, not the gift of salvation. Your gospel does not reflect scripture as presented in verse after verse.
LOL, even Reformed Theology agrees with me and God's word on the subject of born anew people earning rewards through faithful service. We disagree on this subject and all we are doing in debate in going in circles. If are agreeable, please no longer respond to any of my posts on theology and I will refrain from responding to yours. Deal? I see no point in doing nothing more than this between us on this board:

And, he's KJVO as well.LOL, a sermon addressing the supposed faults of other servants of God, but nothing to feed the sheep.
His false gospel says there is no opportunity to choose to believe, to respond to the good news. Thus his gospel becomes the bad news, you have no opportunity to choose Christ nor help lead your loved ones to Christ.
He calls the actual gospel an abomination. He calls those outside of Calvinist doctrine cults.
And, he's KJVO as well.
Because that's the version he was using in the video.Really? What gave you that idea?
Notice folks not one Calvinist posting here has the integrity to post that born anew believers earn rewards through faithful service. Even though that is the Reformed Theology doctrine. I kid you not...I don't care who teaches it - any "rewards" beyond salvation are already ordained by God, not by human will, and are not such that humans have any right to self-glory in. If you agree with that, then we have nothing to argue about on the subject. All I know is that Christ is going to return, get rid of the present heavens and earth, and establish the new heavens and earth wherein dwells righteousness. What that looks like or how God administrates it, all of the elect will all find out when it happens.

Why use it at all for preaching? It's outdated. One can use the KJV without being KJV-only.
Because many think of it as the version of record in English. It's not the "inspired" version, but when folks hear it they think Bible. Why use it at all for preaching? It's outdated.
