Reads like the Nas, but smoother and even more literal!
Its like they took the 1977 Nas and updated it

What do you think of its use of "Yahweh" in the Old Testament?

I do mind it if the Name used is Lord, God, Yahweh, as still all God to me!

As long as they don't go wandering off into Gender Inclusive Land, I'm happy.

None of the top ten, or even top twenty, if I had access to those stats that call God a she. And that includes the NRSV. Do not engage in falsehoods. Prove allegations from the text of a given Bible translation. Otherwise your assertion is groundless.

It is a transliteration of the Hebrew Name of God. The traditional translation of LORD is based on the Hebrew tradition of reading the Hebrew Adoni meaning Lord in it's place.

Actually, since you caused me so much pain and suffering, over and over again, I already had my turn.

You're delusional. To rejoice at someone's actual pain is not evidencing any maturity Alex.

I endure real pain almost every hour with a spastic bladder. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

No mainstream Bible version does what you claim. Deal with actual facts.

This is not Christian behavior. Even if you disagree with him, this isn’t acceptable behavior. Many on here I have on ignore, but I would never express your attitude towards him to them.

I’m not bashing you, so don’t take it that way. But he needs our prayers.

I'm not accustomed to the use of "Yahweh." It wouldn't be my first choice, but that's just me, I suppose.

The Holy Spirit translated God's Name from the Hebrew to the New Testament Greek to mean "Lord" or "God" without further qualifications. Two examples, Romans 10:13, Matthew 4:4.
