I too think the MT is more correct than not.Which text is correct?
I think also Dr Pickering's work, Family 35 Greek text is overall closer. And I suspect the CT is right maybe in a place or two. Where it agrees with the TR.

Sir, if God does not credit a person's faith, as shown in Matthew 7:21-23, what they have is uncredited faith. To claim that is made up, and not biblical truth is to deny God's inspired word.Making stuff up.
If God does not, as you say, credit man's faith, as you suppose, we are toast. It is not our act of believing which causes us to have eternal life. God alone causes this. John 1:12-13. Regarding the lost of Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said they had not done God's will. They were trusting in their works, verse 22.Sir, if God does not credit a person's faith, as shown in Matthew 7:21-23, what they have is uncredited faith. 1) Yes a person without faith or with uncredited faith are toast. If God does not, as you say, credit man's faith, as you suppose, we are toast. It is not our act of believing which causes us to have eternal life. God alone causes this. John 1:12-13. Regarding the lost of Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus said they had not done God's will. They were trusting in their works, verse 22.
Matthew 7:22 they faith in their works.3) The lost had "faith" they were known by Jesus, but were surprised to learn their "faith" had accomplished nothing.
You can believe their faith was in there works, rather than by trusting in Christ for their salvation till the cows come home. Obviously they were surprised their "faith" did not result in salvation. Imagine what those of soil #2 and #3 of Matthew 13 think when they too are not "known" by Christ.Matthew 7:22 they faith in their works.
Accuracy to what the originals statedsuperior based on what?
Would say that the 1611 translators used as a source text in the Greek Tr something that was not part of the original text1 John 5:7 (YLT)
because three are who are testifying in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these -- the three -- are one;
Here we see the YLT translators put the last part of the verse in italics indicating an addition by the translators and not part of the inspired text.
Thus the KJV is a corruption.
We are justified and saved when the Father imputes towards us the very righteousness of Jesus Christ!Does the person denying sense say uncredited faith results in justification? That is unbiblical nonsense. The lost do not save themselves by coming to faith, God saves them only if He credits their faith as righteousness. Automatic salvation is false doctrine.
Is faith limited to trusting in Christ, or does it include also trusting in the Father. According to Jesus, it includes trusting in the Father.
Does post salvation ministry provide full assurance?
Heb 6:11
And we desire that each one of you demonstrate the same diligence so as to realize the full assurance of hope until the end,
Think the CT correct most of the time, but the bzt/MT text should correct it in some instances!I too think the MT is more correct than not.

Accuracy to what the originals stated
The Critical and Mt texts are closer to them then the TR was!no one can ever claim that, as we don't have the original autographs to compare.
The Critical and Mt texts are closer to them then the TR was!
What did they say? Matthew 7:22, ". . . have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? . . ."You can believe their faith was in there works, rather than by trusting in Christ for their salvation till the cows come home. Obviously they were surprised their "faith" did not result in salvation. Imagine what those of soil #2 and #3 of Matthew 13 think when they too are not "known" by Christ.
The premise that "faith" as proclaimed by the believer automatically results in salvation is false and unbiblical doctrine.
I believe you are wrong about the CT.Think the CT correct most of the time, but the bzt/MT text should corct it in some instances!
true, but pretty much only those in Kjvo would agree with you on that!but I can argue the opposite!
many though involved in textual criticism would agree with me on that thoughI believe you are wrong about the CT.
What unbiblical nonsense is this? Romans 4:4-5 and Romans 4:23-25.We are justified and saved when the Father imputes towards us the very righteousness of Jesus Christ!
You deny that we have received the imputation of the very righteousness of Christ? You deny Pauline Justification then? What unbiblical nonsense is this? Romans 4:4-5 and Romans 4:23-25.
Thus they thought their reliance upon what they knew about Jesus (thus in His name or according to His reputation) which constituted their faith in His salvation gift. What did they say? Matthew 7:22, ". . . have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? . . ."
